Chapter 32

He grabbed my chin gently and I started feeling butterflies in my stomach. His eyes were on my eyes, investigating my expressions.

"You said I am your boyfriend?" I knew he was gonna talk about this.

"No..umm..actually I said that because I couldn't say that you're my boss and or else they would think of me as a slut. Anything else didn't come to my mind at that moment so I said boyfriend."

"I love him very much." He started taunting me by repeating the words I said earlier.

"I want to....sleep with him?" He whispered in my right ear sending shivers down my spine.

"I didn't say that!" I shouted.

And luckily at that moment his phone started ringing.
"Hello" he picked up his phone.

"Ok, I won't come to the office today." He said to the caller and then I realized that I had to go to work.

I quickly got ready and was about to wear my shoes when suddenly Jin called me.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I forgot that I have to go to work today and I think I'm already late."

"Go back to sleep."

"Why?"

"You didn't sleep well last night so I'm giving you a day off." He said while reading his newspaper.

"Really?"

"Yes, you can go out and enjoy yourself if you want."

My face brightened up hearing that.

It's so nice to have a day off with a good weather. I hope there's some type of sale going on the dresses I want to purchase today.

As I was walking through the shops, I saw an outfit consisting of a ribbed T-shirt and a miniskirt that caught my eyes.

"Excuse me, I would like to try on that skirt." I said to the staff.

"I like that skirt." And after a second I heard a familiar voice.

When I turned around I saw them, Velissy and my ex.

"Hailey? What are doing here at this hour, you should be at work right? You should be very busy as you're working at a big company. Did get kicked out or something?"

"Are you done? I'm leaving." I said loudly to her.

"Please." She said as she moved out of my way.

But as I started walking I luckily noticed her bringing her foot in front of me so that I trip over. I couldn't control myself anymore and grabbed her wrist tightly.

"Hailey! Let go of me." She screamed

"Hailey Su, let her go." Her boyfriend said angrily.

"Velissy, do you think all people are dumb? When will you stop all this?" I said with a serious tone.

"Help me." She started sobbing.

Her boyfriend came and separated my hand from her wrist. Velissy then quickly hugged him while crying like a 3 year old.

"My wrist hurts, she twisted it so powerfully."

"Don't worry babe, we'll go see a doctor."

"Get lost." He shouted at me.

"Who the fuck are you to shout at me. If she didn't try to harm then I wouldn't have punished her. You both are such an asshole. I feel so disgusted just by looking at you two." I said before leaving the mall.

"Is Seokjin back yet?" I said to myself before entering the house.

"You're back." He said and came towards me.

"Yeah.." I said emotionlessly as I was feeling down.

"You didn't buy anything? I thought you wanted to go for shopping." He stated.

"Oh..yes." I said.

"Ok then go wash up and get ready for dinner." He ordered.

"Professor...I actually ate outside."

"You will eat again."

"But." I said while hiding my hands, trying to look for an excuse.

"What are you hiding? Show me your hand?" He said as he pulled my arms.

"How did your hand get injured?" He asked and sounded worried.

"I accidentally fell while walking."

"Go sit there." His expression changed, he seemed angry.

"What do you want to do?" I said as I sat down on the sofa.

"Give me your hand." He said as I put forward my injured hand.

"When did you fall?" He said while inspecting my hand.

"In the morning."

"Then what about the rest of the day?" He looked at me.

"I ...umm"

"You injured your hand and then just didn't care for the rest of the day?" His expression became more serious that I thought that he was going to lecture me.

*sigh* "Take this ice pack and call me after an hour." He said before leaving the room.

What is he going to do? He's acting quite strange today.

"Get someone to check what Hailey did for the entire day."
