I woke up on a bright, sunny Tuesday. It's my seventeenth birthday. Everything about this day is perfect. But December 11 means much more to me than the day I was born. I turn another year older.

Everything about today is just perfect. I looked at my alarm clock, noticing that it is one in the afternoon. I usually never sleep this late. I'm more of an early bird. I only ever slept in when I was Pregnant. I laid back down and closed my eyes for a few minutes before opening them again. I got up and got dressed, deciding to go out for lunch today. I don't feel like cooking today.

"Hello?" I said as I walked to the living room. No response. I guess everyone is out today doing something. I breathed in happiness. I get the whole day all to myself today! I realize the baby isn't here either. Hiccup must've taken Asher with him for the day.

I grabbed my keys, phone, and wallet as I walked out the door. I walked my way to Panera Bread. I truly missed that place. "Hi! May I help you, miss?" A cute guy at the cash register asked.

"Yeah, I would like the you pick two special. I would like a macaroni and cheese with a grilled cheese, please." I said.

"Would you like an apple, chips, or bread on the side?" He asked.

"An apple, please," I said.

"Alright. Anything to drink?" He inquired. I want soda so bad. I've also haven't had that in months. But to be safe, "A lemonade, please?" He nodded his head I gave him my cash and he gave me my receipt with the buzzer for when the food is ready.

"Thank you and have a nice day." I said.

"You too." He said.

My food eventually came and I was sitting alone in the corner eating my food. It's not as bad but I wish I had some company. I wonder what Hiccup is doing right now. This was the first time I haven't seen him in the morning. And I'm a little concerned about him, being that the more colder it gets, the more he'll fall ill.

I heard my cell phone ding. I pulled it out of my purse and looked at the text message. It was from Hiccup. "Dress well tonight. Love you."

"Kk." I texted back. I looked at my phone, reading that it's 3:30 pm. I have enough time to take a shower and get ready. I finished my lunch and walked back home.

--

I was ready about a half an hour later. I heard my phone ding again. Hiccup again. "I'm outside. Come outside, when you're ready."

"Kk." I texted back.

I sprayed on some perfume and put my phone in my clutch purse before leaving the house. I waved at Hiccup who leaned against his car "Hey!" I call to him making him look up.

"Hey, happy birthday." He said, giving me a hug.

I giggled as I hugged him back. "Thank you."

"You look...." he started. "... I have no words."

"Thanks."

He opened the passenger door to his car with a cute smirk.

"M'Lady.."

I went along with the small joke taking his hand. "Thank you, kind Sir!" I joked getting him to the car. I heard him laugh a little then close the door. I then heard the familiar squeaking noise. I turn over in my seat to see my son. He laughed a little as soon as he saw me. "Hi, Baby," I say to him a funny voice as Hiccup got into the car.

"Were you good for Daddy today?" I ask him. I heard Hiccup laugh again. I look was him. "Was he bad?"

"Oh, God no.. it was hilarious." Hiccup started. "He wouldn't let me put him down. He was very clingy today."
