I stop at his door. I feel almost scared to knock. Taking a deep breath, I slowly knock on the door. A minute or two later, he opened the door. He looked at me, then forced himself to smile faintly. "Hey."

"Can we talk?" I ask him, unsure of how to approach him.

He stepped aside letting me in. "Did dad tell you to come up here?" He asked.

"Sorta." He didn't reply. He sat down by his window, where the dog was. He looked tired. "You feel okay?" I ask him calmly, trying not to make him mad.

He looked at me. "I'm fine, Elsa. Nothing's going to happen to me." He answered.

"You don't know that!"

"But I can be sure," he started. "I can't make promises, but I know I'll be fine." He said. I sit down at the end of his bed. Asher only squirmed. He didn't say anything. He ran his hand through his hair, then sighed. "I'm sorry." He sighed.

"For what?"

"Putting you through this. You don't deserve this." He said.

"What do you mean?" I ask him.

"I've been a mess since you met me," He sighed. "First Astrid, then my Father... Then the whole you getting Pregnant thing, which was completely my fault -- not that I regret that... I don't --" He cut himself off reassuring me about the Baby. "Everything is just so messed up!"

"Alright," I sigh, unsure of what to say. "Things may be a little messed up, but just know you didn't deserve it either. You put up with all my crap either. Heck, you put up with my entire pregnancy!" I tell him.

"I put up with it because it was my fault, and you didn't deserve anything that had happened to you," He said to me.

He looked at me. I exchange his look. "I'm willing to put up with this Hiccup. It's my return."

He looked at me again. "Elsa. This is different. As I said, your pregnancy was completely different." He said. "The baby was mine. I had to put up with those stupid ass kids." He adds. He then sighed again. "There's nothing that will change this." He sighed.

"But something will make it better," I tell him. Asher squirmed again.

Hiccup only sighed. "You still don't deserve it." He said to me.

"But neither do you. This is your life it's affecting." I start with him. "I'm always going to be here for you. No matter how bad your condition gets." I tell him.

He looks away. "I wish it was that easy," he sighed.

I give him a look. He exchanged it. I stare at him for a couple more minutes. "It will be, I promise,"
