the parks had outdone themselves. the whole ballroom was decorated based on the busan flag colors of blue and white. the floor was reflecting the lights making the glass chandelier sparkle. there was tables of food, finger sandwiches, sweet treats, and plenty of drinks. it was breathtaking. the orchestra's music could be heard as everyone talked to one another. others used the music to dance with each other.
parks were introduced, the king, the queen, and prince jimin made their appearance and thanked everyone for joining then encouraged everyone to enjoy themselves.
the guests didn't know that there would be an announcement, to them it was just another ball.
"i can not wait until the parks arrive," said the queen to both her husband and son, "we haven't seen them for quiet some time."
"agreed," the king said, "i hope everything is well."
i hope they don't come, jimin thought and looked around the ball. the parks stayed together as they watched everyone smiling and having a great time. however, jimin was looking for a certain someone.
jimin's eyes sparkled when he found the person, "excuse me," he said to his parents and made it over to him.
"taehyung," jeongguk said and they shared a smile, "jimin your family have really went all out."
jimin nodded, "they have," he said, "they are excited to see the jeon's."
"you don't seem happy to," taehyung said noticing the change in jimin's voice.
jimin blushed a bit, "i rather spend time with someone else..." he confessed.
before they could continue, there was a loud voice.
"king jeon and queen jeon," the voice said, "prince jeongguk and princess hani."
everyone turned to see the jeon's enter. jimin saw jeongguk, he was wearing a blue suit, the same color as his family.
king park and queen park greeted them. then everyone resumed.
"you finally made it," said queen jeon to the parks.
"yes, we are glad to be here," said king park.
"i'm sorry jimin is not here to greet you," said queen park, "he is lost in the ball somewhere."
"don't mind him, let him enjoy himself," said queen jeon, "in the mean time, jeongguk you can take hani around, we will stay with the parks."
jeongguk nodded and hani took her brother's hand as they joined the fun.
"when should we make the announcement?" asked king jeon.
"soon," said king park, "first let everyone forget we are here. let them enjoy themselves."

"wow, so that is prince jeongguk," said taehyung in an impressed tone, "i didn't think he'd be that handsome."
jimin glanced at the prince who was with his sister, "i don't see it," he said then picked up a drink.
taehyung chuckled, "maybe because you haven't talked to him," before jimin could say anything taehyung took his arm and dragged the prince to jeongguk.
"hello your highness," said taehyung to jeongguk, "my name is taehyung, prince taehyung of daegu, pleasure to meet you."
jeongguk smiled and shook his hand, "nice to meet you, im jeongguk and this is my little sister hani."
hani was behind jeongguk's leg as she said her hello to taehyung.
"this is prince jimin," taehyung said, as jimin was beside him.
"n-nice to meet you," jeongguk said with a smile.
jimin nodded and smile back.
"woah, you're handsome," hani said coming behind her brother, then looked at jeongguk, "i think you are second place brother."
they laughed, "really? you think jimin is more handsome than me?" he asked hani who nodded.
jeongguk smiled, "you may be right," he said, "he is handsome." jeongguk glanced at jimin who was looking at him. jimin quickly looked away. jeongguk felt a bit sad, "we should be going, it was nice meeting you taehyung," jeongguk said led hani away from them.
"jimin, i don't know why you would reject someone as nice as him."
jimin sighed, because he isn't you.

"i think it is time," king park said to king jeon, who nodded. prince jimin and jeongguk were secretly called forth.
there was a bell ring, which made the room quiet for king park to speak.
the kings were at attention, the princes were between them as king prince announce that the two are now engaged.
everyone cheered. the princes made their speeches and soon it was over. people continued to dance and laugh.
it was getting late and the parks were saying their goodbyes to the jeon's. jimin however pulled jeongguk aside, "read this when you get home," he said and said goodbye.
jeongguk placed the note in his pocket, anxious to get home and read the note.
