"did you hear?" namjoon said to jeongguk, "that doyoung is coming."
jimin looked at jeongguk who's eyes widened, this wasn't a good thing jimin concluded.
"doyoung is jeongguk's old childhood friend," jin explained to jimin, "doyoung used to have a major crush on jeongguk."
jimin glanced at jeongguk who was blushing.
namjoon smirked at jeongguk, "looks like you are going to be in a pickle," he said, "because look who is coming over."
the four of them turned to see a man in a navy blue suit approaching them, "jeongguk," he said with a confident aura, "it's been awhile."
jeongguk smiled back, "it has been, how have you been?"
jimin watched as the two talked, jimin could see something between the two which made him feel small. soon the four of them were talking, as they were, jimin slipped away, jeongguk looks happy, he thought, maybe the engagement should be cancelled.
jimin walked outside and saw soyoung and hani playing, it brought a smile to his face. he strolled around the garden, admiring the flowers that were closed, he kept thinking about jeongguk reaction to his confess then jeongguk's smile with doyoung.
jimin saw a waiter with drinks, he grabbed one, and drank it down quickly. he was pretty far from the castle and went further into the garden. he wondered aimlessly when he heard a rustle. he turned to see no one, then he took any step and the rustling resumed. jimin turned again quickly but it stopped.

where did jimin go? jeongguk wondered as he looked around, not able to spot him, "excuse me," he said to his friends and walked away. he couldn't find him inside, so he went looking outside, he saw hani and decided to ask her.
"hani," he asked, "have you seen jimin?"
hani nodded, "he went to the garden," she said pointing the direction. jeongguk thanked her and reminded her to stay close to the castle.
jeongguk walked further into the garden, then heard something. he walked a bit fast until he heard voices, "do you think he's dead?" one said.
"no i think he is just out cold," the other said, "we should get him back."
jeongguk quietly approached the two then knocked one out with a few kicks and took care of the other after a few punches.
jeongguk ran past them to see jimin knocked out, "shit," he said and picked him up. jeongguk called a guard over and informed them about the two in the garden to take care of them.
jeongguk sneaked jimin inside the castle and informed a servant to inform both their parents. the servant nodded and left.
jeongguk placed jimin in his bed, he removed his shoes before tucking him in bed. he also sent a servant to call a doctor. jeongguk checked jimin for any bleeding or any bruises, he only found a few small scratches.
why did he walk so far, he thought, but was stopped when his parents and jimin's parents walked in.
"who did this?" asked king park upset.
jeongguk shook his head, "i don't know but i got two of them. they should be in the dungeon."
"i'll go check," said king park.
"i'll end the party," said king jeon. both kings left as the queens stayed. jeongguk moved beside his mother in order for queen park to be next to her son.
"jeongguk," his mother said, "can i talk to you a minute?"
jeongguk nodded and they went further into the room, "jeongguk, i want to ask you for your answer," she said, "regarding the engagement. do you want to remain with jimin or end it."
"what about the promise?" he asked, "with grandfather."
queen jeon shook her head, "that doesn't matter now. you can fulfill that in the future sometime."
jeongguk nodded.
"so what is your answer?"
