[AN: Previous chapter: Mew and Gulf went to Macau. And again, please don't hesitate to leave comments. I need them.]
9: Star Gazing
Mew and Gulf are back in Thailand after two weeks of staying in Macau.
They seemed to have a silent agreement that they like each other. Gulf woke up that day on Mew's arms and it gave a fuzzy feeling in his chest. Admittedly, it was awkward for both of them after that passionate sex. Both were so polite with each other, and would have complete silence in between them every short sentence. It felt like two teenagers on their first date.
He was not looking forward to be locked up in Mew's room again. He sighed as he rolled his luggage back at the familiar place, and wished he was still eating buffet at Macau.
"You look unhappy." Mew said, observing him. He loosened the buttons on his sleeves and removed his watch, placing it beside a fresh stack of Debauve which the staff had brought in prior to their arrival.
"Why am I still being confined?" he complained, sitting on the couch.
Mew thought about this before. He doesn't and would not like for Gulf to be contained here also. Other VVIP hosts aren't locked up. Now that he had fixed their fake documents, he can at least give Gulf his freedom.
The only one stopping him now is fear of betrayal.
Their romance happened quickly. For businessmen like him, knowing someone within a month is not enough for him to put his trust. However, he can't explain this soft spot he feels for Gulf.
"Alright. You can roam around."
He came up with ways in how he can still have Gulf within his radar even if he's not in this room.
Gulf's eyes sparkled. "I'm free?"
"Hmm." Mew agreed and Gulf jumped to his feet.
"Do not forget that you are bound by Clove's rules. Think of your family whenever you attempt to run away. You should not - "
"Divulge Clove's secrets. I know! You've told me plenty of times!" he rolled his eyes and opened his luggage. "Can I bring home stuff though?"
"You can. But are you sure you want to go home?" Mew asked, trying to imply that he doesn't want Gulf to go. "Aren't they still angry at you?"
"Naaah. I know my family. They're just noisy like that but they'll want me back." He said confidently, eyeing the bags of clothes he had bought for them as bribes.
Mew didn't like it at all. His possessiveness is creeping up to him again. He hugged Gulf from behind and inhaled his nape. "Can you not go? I'll just have those things delivered to them."
"Can't. I want to see them."
"Then... you must always answer when I call, ok?"
"Uh."
"And when I ask for you to come to me, you must immediately go."
"Uh. Damn Mew, you're so clingy."
