[AN: Seriously, I had fun reading your theories! I feel sorry because it's actually anti-climactic. I have already included him a few chapters back.]
11: Do you Like It?
If this is Mew, then who is that guy sleeping on the bed?
Mew is not dead is he? This is not his soul taking revenge? Gulf thought wildly.
But ghosts can't hold guns. Upon closer look, he can see that there are differences between this guy and the one at the bed. This one looked younger, with less lines on the face. His white shirt is a school uniform. His fringes were long and covering his eyebrows unlike Mew's style that Gulf is accustomed with – brushed up.
"You're not the one I picked for him. Who are you?" his voice was exactly the same as Mew's.
"Do you mean Boat? He backed out and I was the replacement."
"You have guts to return here. Didn't you abandon him?"
"I didn't. Put your gun down, I need to clean him up."
Even if he was scared, he feared more for Mew's situation. Surprisingly, this Mew look-alike lowered his gun, and deciding he isn't a threat, secured it on his belt.
Gulf immediately turned his back and examined Mew's foot. He breathed in relief as he saw it was just a shallow wound that grazed the toe.
"Go away. I'll do it." The guy behind him said. He was now holding a glass bowl with water and towel in it. Gulf watched as Mew's feet were wiped clean and rubbed with antiseptic. On the other hand, he tried his best to clean what was around Mew. He removed the glass wine from his hand and swept the shard-covered floor.
It was a very awkward silence between them.
Mew started to stir an hour later, face wincing like he was in pain. He groaned as he tried to move, eyes still closed.
"Just lie down. You're still unwell." The guy said.
"Why are you here?" Mew asked.
