[AN: Previous chapter: Gulf was granted freedom. Incidentally, he met with Boat and had a conversation with him which made him confused with his feelings. Mew, convinced that they have feelings for each other took him to an attraction in their mall, kissed him... and got rejected?]
10: Mew Is...
It's been a week since their short planetarium date.
Following Mild's advice, Gulf started looking for a job for two reasons: One, so that he can earn his own money. Two, so that his family wouldn't be suspicious as to why he isn't going back to Mew's company. He can't apply on their own store given that his family thought he was working at Sonata Mall's inner circle.
It was harder than he thought.
He had probably submitted his resume to all buildings he could see in Bangkok but up to now no one has contacted him yet. He was feeling pressured. He would go out in the morning to apply, and stay somewhere before he could go back at night. Near the weekend, he was already feeling hopeless. How come Mild did it and he can't?!
"Please tell me something about yourself."
Gulf sat confidently across a guy wearing formal suit. He was also dressed properly, already itching to remove his tie.
"Krub. I am Gulf Kanawut, a graduate of King Mongkut's University of Technology. I like watching and playing football. I like watching movies. I like exploring things."
"Interesting. Please emphasize, what do you like to explore?"
"Oh. I like exploring new places where I can eat, exploring new bars and late night gigs, exploring new TV shows, exploring shopping districts, the newest fashion, exploring new gadgets, the newest games..."
The interviewer scratched his head. "What about your strengths and weaknesses?"
Gulf chewed his lip. "I am very friendly, krub. I can get along really well with peers, uh..."
"If you were given tasks which are near the deadline but your supervisor is not around, what would be your next step?"
"Easy. I will not mess up my work..."
The interviewer waited expectantly, leaning forward to hear the rest of Gulf's answer.
"... and use technology to ask for my supervisor's help. Meanwhile, I can relax while waiting for his answer. It is important to have a peace of mind even in the midst of deadline."
The interviewer sighed and closed his eyes in disbelief.
"Then, that is all. Don't call us, we'll call you. That is the door, you may go."
Surprised at this abrupt end of his interview, he got up and coolly walked out of the room.
