14: Cherry Blossoms
Japan is like a dream come true for Gulf.
He can't stop ogling at the wonderful view of the mountains and cherry blossoms whose petals were floating in the air and landing lightly on the asphalt. Their car drove past a tunnel of these trees and he felt like he was in a romantic drive-through with Mew.

Except that it was mixed with nightmare.
AA was speaking in Japanese at the front of the car, talking with their guide and driver. Mew was replying in Japanese too every now and then. They could have been talking about the weather or about business, Gulf wouldn't know. So he just contented himself by taking out his phone and taking pictures of the landscape, because what else can he do? He only knows konnichiwa and arigatou and still mixes up the two. AA glared at him from the side mirror.
He was so annoyed to know that they will be accompanied by this guy. It looks like Tong insisted that AA should come with Mew, knowing that Gulf doesn't know Japanese phrases. He didn't take it to heart, but it put him on a sour mood whenever he initiates a talk with Mew. AA would interfere and talk about work or else remind Mew of where they ate or where they strolled during their past trip in this country.
"Remember this Boss Mew? You bought 2 boxes of these to be distributed in the office." AA pointed at a shelf filled with KitKat varieties. They have just finished dinner and was walking towards their car when they passed by a convenience store. Having very limited time to buy souvenirs, Mew suggested that they check the store out for possible take home trinkets.
"And these? Nong Pek likes these." AA got a handful of Pocky boxes and tossed them in the basket.
Mew nodded. His brother likes biscuits and he approves of AA's choices.
