Morning came by and I awoke hearing Gail squealing, hard. I could hear the door to my room open and there she stood in all her glory with a pair of short shorts and a thin see through tank top over her bright yellow bikini top. A wide grin was plastered on her face as she held a piece of paper in her hand.
"What's got you in a happy early in the morning?" I yawned as I grabbed my phone to check the time. It was around ten in the morning. I flipped the sheets over my body and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Gail followed me and leaned on the frame of door, still grinning.
"We are going to have a scavenger hunt!" She started squealing again.
I raised a brow at her. What's so exciting about a scavenger hunt? "That's it?"
"I'm in James Flynn's team! Can you believe it?! Oh my god, I mean he's so...I don't know!" she started babbling about James Flynn. "Do you think he'll notice me? Maybe I should find a sexier bikini."
"Who's James Flynn?" I asked, puzzled.
She gaped at me like I just stole a bag of marshmallows, planted it on the ground to make a marshmallow plant. Like I was stupid. Like when she found out about Mr. West and me.
"You don't know him?!" she began to shriek like a mad person. "He's been sitting just in front of you during geometry! I can't believe you don't know him. He probably talked to you already."
"The blonde?" I asked, instantly remembering Luke, Mr. West's best friend. When will I meet him again? "The guy with the wide forehead? No, that's Henry. The guy that looks like a Siberian husky because of his gray eyes?"
"Siberian Husky?! And yes, he has gray eyes."
I rolled my eyes at her. "What are you? In Team James Flynn fan club or something?" I smirked at her as she blushes but shook her head. "So, what team am I on?"
"You're not on any."
"Why?"
"Did you want to join?"
"When was that question asked?"
"It was on the back of the form." She said, producing a blank form from her pocket and showed me the backside which I totally ignored and left blank. There it was on black ink stating a question if I wanted to join and a blank space provided for my answer.
Stupid, stupid me.
I frowned, realizing that I wasn't in the game. What the hell am I going to do now? Swim on the sea? I'm not really much of a swimmer so that was out of the question. Maybe I could just roam around the beach and find some damn thing to do.
I pursed my lips together and changed my clothes when Gail skipped out of my room to find 'sexier' bikini. I really don't think James Flynn is that hot. Compared to Mr. West, James Flynn is a zero.
Shaking my head, I pulled on a pair of shorts and a sheer dress over my top and bottoms. I slipped on my flip flops, tied my hair into a messy bun and set off to the beach with my card key in hand.
When I arrived at the beach, every student and I really mean every student was already in their own assigned groups as Mr. West was handing out a sheet of paper to every group. I groaned, realizing I was the only student who didn't join the hunt. There were approximately 9 groups and each had about 10 students. And Mr. West was all in his bare chested glory and his beach shorts.
I looked down, and trudged to Mr. West as he blew the whistle. The groups suddenly ran for their lives off to find something I don't know about. My card key was in the middle of the side of my index finger and the top part o my thumb. I showed the card key to him while he gave me a puzzled look.
