I woke with a start, wrapped in Mr. West’s arms. Your boyfriend’s arms. I smiled at the thought. He’s mine now.

I looked at him, the tips of his hair covering the top part of his eyes. Just like every other person out there, he looks real nice and innocent when he’s asleep. But Christ, he’s a total opposite. Far from nice and innocent.

“Enjoying the view?” he opened his eyes and looked at me.

Grabbing the pillow which was just a few inches from my hand, I slammed it down onto his face and sat up, my face burning due to the fact he caught me staring his pretty little face. “Shut up.”

He removed the pillow from his face and sat up too letting the covers fall off from his body and pool around his waist exposing his upper half.

Shit.

“I need to get ready for school Where is Aaron?” I stood up from the bed, trying my best to avoid my eyes from averting down on his body. I found my purse on the table and dug my hands in it. I produced my phone and my forty dollars. “Oh my god. I can’t believe it. I still have money!”

“So?” Mr. West asked me, unsure.

“Well Mr. West, I thought I didn’t have money last night so I tried walking when I could’ve just taken a cab home!” I sat on the chair, stupidly laughing at myself.

Disappointment crossed his face as I finished. It turned to him and blinked. “What’s wrong?”

“Are you regretting last night?” he asks in a breathless whisper.

What? “No, of course not.” I rush to his side and if any of you get any ideas, no we did not have sex. “Why would you think that?”

“Last night, nothing would’ve happen if you found your money.” His voice trailed off.

I can’t believe it. We are not yet even together for a day and he already doubts me? “I never wished I found it.”

He looked up, a faint smile on his lips but said no words.

“Come one. I need to get ready and Aaron probably forgot so I have to ring him up.” I stood up, offering my hand to him like what he did yesterday to me.

“Aaron already dropped off your stuff. It’s over there.” He pointed at a paper bag on the corner. “Go shower first, I’ll be in the kitchen with breakfast.”

“Okay.” I nodded and took the paper bag. “Um, towels?”

“Shit.” He cursed, scratching the back of his neck. “Let me check if I have a spare. I think Mrs. Smith is still washing them.”

I tilted my head. “Mrs. Smith?”

“My housekeeper.” He replied going out of the room and returning with a white towel. “You’re in luck; she just finished washing them yesterday.”

“Thanks.” I said, receiving the towel and a quick peck on the lips before he went to the kitchen to make some breakfast.

I stood there stupefied for a couple of seconds when he closed the door. Right, he’s mine now.

Smiling, I went to the bathroom and stripped off my clothes. The water greeting me. By the time I was done, I wrapped myself with the towel and went to the sink to brush my teeth.

When I grasp the fact I had no toothbrush, I smiled evilly. I took his toothbrush and used it to brush my teeth and when I was done, I pulled on my uniform and rushed downstairs, the drool worthy smell of food filling up my nostrils.
