Niall i watch Aria as she claps at Charlie laughing her little head off, tomorrow she's going to be one and i'm still in disbelief that she's going to be. the past year has been crazy, probably the most hectic of my life so far, but it's been amazing being able to watch her grow and learn all new things. i feel Jades arms wrap around my waist her head resting against my shoulder i look down at her a huge toothless smile on her face "this time last year we spent the whole day in bed talking about everything we were gonna do in the next year" she smiles as i wrap my arms around her i just nod kissing her forehead "did we do everything we said?" i ask her she thinks for a minute her eyes locked on our baby girl she then just slightly nods "everything" she smiles looking up at me i just smile at her back "so bath then bed bub?" i ask her she nods letting go of me and going over to Aria she picks her up coming back over to me and grabbing my hand and leading me up the stairs Charlie quick behind us. we quickly bath Aria after she makes a mess with all the bubbles and toys and Charlie jumping up to her constantly we then take her into her bedroom i quickly dress her in a white onesie and then pass her over to Jade on the rocking chair while she feeds her sitting on the floor in front of them "what do you think the next year will be like?" Jade asks me brushing through Arias hair her eyes focused on her. "i think she's gonna be a little nutter" i slightly laugh as Jades eyes widen "exactly like her daddy" Jade laughs joining in with me, Charlie sitting on my knee "we're gonna be driven crazy aren't we" Jade laughs i instantly nod watching Aria just looking up at Jade and playing with her hair. it's crazy to think that we didn't have her this time last year that we were yet to even meet her but now we have all these amazing memories, it really is the best thing that could of happened to me becoming a dad because i've learnt things i've never knew before and felt a whole new type of love. i watch Arias eyes as they slowly shut as she falls asleep Jade stands up an i watch her as she carefully places her in the cot she then walks over to me Charlie going to the cot and laying in his bed next to it, we moved it there when we realised every night he'd sleep in Arias room he seems to be really protective over her and i love it. Jade comes and sits in my knee, i wrap my arms around her whole body resting my chin on her head she grabs hold of my t-shirt grabbing onto it as tightly as she can as she sniffles a little, i look down at her a few tears falling down from her eyes "she's gonna be like eighteen before we know it" she quietly cries out looking up at me pouting i just laugh at her quickly pecking her lips i pick her up as i stand up carrying her out of the room and into our own "so i guess every year on this date your gonna cry a little about how she's growing?" i ask her she playfully slaps me on the chest as i put her down on the bed "last year i was scared to push a baby out of me so technically not" she tries to stand up for herself i just laugh going into her wardrobe and pulling out some of her pyjamas "throw them on and then we'll go set up her presents" i smile at her passing her the pyjamas she nods starting to get changed. i go into my wardrobe pulling off my t-shirt and jeans throwing them in the washing basket i grab some short grey joggers quickly putting them on and going back out to Jade "let's go but i have to warn you there will be tears" she laughs grabbing my hand and walking out the room damn i got so lucky to have her niallhoran
