Gracie's pov
It's been one month, I'm terrified. Half the time I'm either sitting on the toilet for to long waiting for my water to break, or walking up and down halls.

But my water hasn't broken, I'm due in four days. But my doctor says that usually the water doesn't exactly break on that day.

Paul's tried is hardest to stay with me, and putting up with my constant worrying.

But he has to be at the studio a lot, Brian's death changed the system up.

George martians been acting different, George and Patties relationship is on the rocks, and I'm heavily pregnant.

Johns been distant recently which I hate very much, he's always here distracting me, annoying and making fun of me.

I know that sounds actually terrible when I say it out loud, but it helps and we both have a good laugh out of it.

I'm currently singing on the toilet, hoping for my water to break.
"Gracie?!"
I heard a distressed call.
I hoped up flushed and walked out.

It was pattie, she was in tears.
She looked terrible! The last time I saw her wearing loose track pants was when— Wait I've never seen her in loose track pants.

I ran over to her.
"Patts?!"
I asked bringing her Into a hug immediately.
"We're over! George and I are done!"
My heart broke.

I knew this was due to happen, George had cheated, then of course Pattie cheated, then the arguments god! The arguments.

To be honest I wasn't on any side, they were both acting like 4 year olds. But still this was terrible news.

Pattie would always tell me about him, how lovely, funny, cute, nice, hot! Man he was.

She was nothing but an angle to him, and he was nothing but great full.

They both probably need to move on, they've been married for quite some time.
"Don't be sad baby, just imagine how sad he is."
I mumbled patting  her lose hairs down.
"I just— I just love him so much!"
She said breaking down in my arms.
"Hey, hey it's all going to be alright, take a deep Breath. I'm going to draw you a warm bath, you can stay here as long as you want ok?"
She slowly nodded, I broke just looking at pattie.

She had no make up on, not even her signature eye lashes or wings she does perfectly.

Her nose was running, and her eyes were red all puffy.

I held her hand and walked her to my bathroom.

But then a sharp pain hit me.
"Fuckkkk."
I squealed.
"Are you ok?!"
I clenched my face together.
"I'm— I'm fine."
"You don't look so fine—"
"I'm fine."
I said taking a deep breath in.
Pattie nodded and I drew a bath nice and warm and left her to bathe.

I sat down on the couch, Pattie would occasionally yell out for something, or to ask if I was ok.

Which I'd yell back a yes.
But then there was a knock at the door.

That's strange, Paul shouldn't be back yet.
I got up carefully holding my back and slowly walking to the door.

I opened it and John walked right in and right past me.
"John?"
He looked terrible as well, why was everyone so in the dumps? I mean I'm the one heavily pregnant!
"Listen Gracie, I need you to listen. Don't say anything just listen."
"Wha—"
He held his fingers forcefully to my lips.

I stopped.
"Ok— uh- where do I start. Listen, I'm in love with you—"
"What?!?!"
"Are you ok Gracie?!"
I heard pattie yell from the bathroom.
"Why's Pattie here?"
John whispered.
"You love me?"
"Yes- but but, just let me explain myself— uh— um."
Then he pushed his lips onto mine, I fell back a bit but he continued to kiss me.
"What the fuck?!"
I pushed him off of me, falling to the ground, Paul ran in
"Gracie?"
"Paul! I think my water just broke—l"
"Shit!"
John slolwy backed up and ran out.
"Wait John—"
To late, he's already ran out.
Paul was quick to run by my side.
"Why the fuck was John kissing you?!"
Paul yelled.
"I don't? I don't— I don't know."
My eyes were slowly feeling heavier and heavier.
"Wait- Gracie stay with me."
"Gracie?!"
"No gracie!"
All I could hear were echoes of voices.
Lost in the dark, I'd fainted before but this time was different.
I was somewhere else.
All I could see was darkness.
But there was one thing, someone standing in front of me.
"Hello?"
I spoke.
The figure turned around reveling someone I haven't really thought about.
"Zac?"
I choked out.
He smiled and walked towards me.
"Haven't seen you in a while luv, how've you been?"
He asked.
I slowly walked backwards.
"Your not real—"
He held my hand.
"I'm real."
I shook my head, tears rolling down my cheeks.
"You seem to have moved on, Congratulations on the baby."
He spoke, smiling as he observed me.
"What are you— how are you?"
"Me? Pfft! I'm fine luv, I'm absolutely fine. But your not."
"What?"
"Your going to wake up soon, but I just wanted to say good bye, Yknow for good."
He said, who's smile never leaving his lips.
"You've been gone for almost 3 years."
"Not mentally I haven't."
He said we walked down Into nowhere hand on hand.
"So your leaving?"
I asked.
"I'm just a part, of your early life. I mean nothing."
He said, we stopped walking.
"See that."
He said pointing out into nowhere.
But all of a sudden, two kids ran past up.
"Who's that?"
"Us."
I gasped realising that it was him and I running after my old basket ball.
"Zac I don't want you to go."
"Luv, you've got so much ahead of you. You don't even know! Enjoy your life whilst you can".
"But— but."
He let go of my hand and walked off. The two kids ran over to him, each of them holding onto his hands.
"Say goodbye to Gracie."
They all waved and walked off.
"No! Wait! Zac!"
"One two three, go!"
I heard suddenly snapping back into reality.
"Gracie!!"
I saw paul in a nurses fit, I looked around.
I was in a room.
Doctors and nurses surrounding me.
"Doctor she's up, bring in the boy."
"The boy?"
I spoke, looking down and seeing blood all over myself.
"We had an emergency c section, it was the only way."
"For a second they thought you were gone..."
Paul spoke, I could tell he's been crying.
"How long?"
"Gracie it's been 2 days, you've been concious on and off."
I was lost in translation at this point, my head wasn't sore. Weird. I felt fine. I mean after a c section and being practically dead for two days.
I feel fine, great to be honest.

But what I saw next broke me down into a million pieces.
The doctor came in with a little boy.

He was small, quite pale, he had little black hairs already.
And—
"Oh my..."
"I haven't seen him yet, I told them I wouldn't dare see him without you."
Paul spoke tearing up.
The doctor handed me him.
Our little baby opened his eyes, his eyes weren't brown nor hazel.
They were bright blue, just like mine. Exactly like mine, shocking me out of the waters.
"Samuel."
I whispered.
"Pardon?"
"Samuel, I want him to be named Samuel James McCartney."
I spoke confidently.
"Samuel after Brian, the man we lost. James after the man I love so much i can't bare to explain."
Paul was looking right Into my eyes.
"Samuel, I love it".
He said.
I smiled and pressed my lips on Paul's, he held my chin deepening the kiss.
"I love you."
I spoke.
"I love you."
Put foreheads were touching.
We both looked down to Sam.
"Sam for short?"
Paul asked.
"Sam for short."
I repated.
Making eye contact with him, Sam smiled, I smiled back kissing his little rosey chubby cheeks.
