Chapter 42: homecoming

Today was the day! The home coming dance! I'm not the type of girl to like these kinds of things but I'm super excited because I have josh. Apparently yesterday was considered our homecoming game which no one really knew about with everything going on.

I got out of bed and decided to wear a cute outfit today. I got dressed and put my hair In two French braids.

Once I finished getting ready I went downstairs to my brothers. Tayler said "so tonight, the dance. Don't be stupid please." I laughed. He's so over protective sometimes. Actually, a lot. "I won't tayler." He smiled and we all got in the car. Bryce said "so I'm gonna bring my girlfriend to homecoming." Me and tayler bursted our laughing. "You have a grilfriend?!" We said that at the same time. Bryce rolled his eyes and said "yes. Now let me live." We laughed again then pulled up to the school.

I hopped out of the car and went to my locker and saw a happy little Charli standing there. "Hey char." I said, trying to see why she's so happy. "Ok I'm not gonna wait for you to ask! I got a date to homecoming!" My eyes went wide. "No fucking way char! Who is it?!" Charli said "his name is Payton. He's super cute. And he is really nice."

Aw I'm so happy for Charli. "If this boy breaks your heart I'm going to break him." Charli laughed and said "ok tiger. I will see you in class." I nodded and got my books then went to joshs locker. When I got there I hugged josh and noticed jaden had mads with him. I smiled and said "good morning you two." Jaden laughed and said "shut up Nik." I laughed and josh kissed my cheek and said "I can't wait to see you tonight." I smiled and said "me too. I didn't have time to try in my dress so I just bought it and left." Josh laughed and said "well your going to look amazing princess." I smiled and we left for class.

When we walked into the classroom it was pretty normal. No physco teachers.. we I mean, my mom but I guess she isn't that bad. I sat down in my seat and talked to Charli. "So wanna come by my place and get ready?" I said "I'm pretty sure josh is gonna pick me up so I will meet you there. Oh and you won't believe it." Charli said "what am I not gonna believe?" I laughed a little and said "Bryce got a girlfriend."  Charli bursted our laughing. "Your kidding." "Nope. And she's coming to the dance tonight." Charli smiled and we both started to do our work.

~after school~
Once school ended I was going to go practice but coach sent a message to the team saying "good after noon boys and Nicole. No practice today. Have fun at the dance and don't be stupid. Have a good weekend too. Be game ready for Monday!" I closed the text and started to walk out of the building when you heard josh call your name. You looked behind you and saw him standing there. "Im gonna pick you up at eight ok?" I smiled and said "Aw your cute. Yeah." Josh smiled and gave me a kiss and I left the building. I walked home a little fast because I had a lot of homework and I had to get ready.

I got home and went straight to my room and did homework. It took me about two hours to do that so once I finished I took a shower. The shower was really relaxing because I stressed myself out over homework. Once I finished taking a shower I dried off and changed into my dress and heels.

Once I finished getting dressed I dried my hair and did it as nice as I could because it was a mess.

When I finished getting ready it was around eight.  Yes, I take very long to get ready for things like these. I went downstairs one I got ready and saw josh Bryce tayler and another girl there. Josh looked me up and down then smiled. I hugged him and Bryce said "oh Nik, this is my girlfriend Addison." I smiled and said "nice to meet you." She smiled back and said "nice to meet you too." I smiled the me and josh went outside and took some pictures. I kept them in my phone to post later and then got in joshs car with him and left.

"You look gorgeous princess." I smiled and said "you look good too joshy. But I never got my kiss." Josh laughed and quickly kissed me. I smiled and then we got to the school. We both got out of the car and walked inside. I saw Charli with her date and she looked amazing. She had on her red skin tight dress and her hair was curly. She saw me and ran over. "You look stunning. I'm jealous." I laughed and said "char compared to you I look like a garbage bag." Charli laughed and went back over to her date so I went to josh. We both walked around for a little bit then found the boys. Jaden has mads with him, griffin had Dixie, and the others were just here for fun. Dixie said "you look good Nik." I smiled and said you guys too."

The sh started to play some music so we all went to the center and danced. This went on for a while until they called up the homecoming nominees for king and queen. For queens it was me, Loren, Charli, and some other girl. For kings it was josh, jaden, Payton, and Anthony. They said "first up, our homecoming queen is.. Nicole Hall!" I smiled and got my crown and waited to see who the king was.

"And now, our king, Josh Richards!" I smiled and josh got his crown and stood next to me. They too a few pictures of us and then made us slow dance on the dance floor. Me and josh went to the center and danced. We both kept laughing because neither of us like to dance. After the song ended we got our form the middle and sat with everyone at a table. Jaden said "you two looked like little kids dancing because of your laughing." We both laughed and I said "well We both don't like to dance so it was just funny." Jaden laughed and we all went back to the floor and had fun for the remainder of the dance.
