Today is the day! Our final football game of high school. It all went by so fast. But today is a big day. If we win, we win it all. We get the championship trophy, and bragging rights.. it's great. I got out of bed and got dressy nicely for school. I decided to be a little extra since it's the last game.

I put my hair into two cute french braids and went downstairs. I noticed it was only Bryce waiting there. Before I could ask he said "I don't wanna big Tayler after last night.. let's just go." I nodded and said "ok, I have the championship game today and you two better come." Bryce laughed a little and said "of course, big day." I smiled and we both drove to school.
When we got there a bunch of boys gave me the look. I didn't really like that. I ignored all of them and just went to my locker. I was grabbing my books when I felt arms go around my waist. I turned my head and saw Jackson, of course. I knew he would be the one to ruin my mood. "Your really askin for it shortcakes." I tried to get him off of me but I couldn't.
I looked around the halls for someone to help when I spotted josh walking in with jaden. I was a bit relieved when I saw them. They noticed me struggling so josh came over and pushed Jackson away. Jackson simply just laughed and walked away. "You ok princess?" Josh said while pulling me into a hug. "I'm ok, I couldn't get him off." Josh kissed my cheek and said "well you look hot today." I laughed and said "oh whatever. You two don't look bad either." Jaden laughed and said "thanks but have you seen Charli?" I smiled and said "at her locker, go get your girlfriend." Jaden playfully rolled his eyes and walked off.
I turned back towards josh and hugged him again. He whispered into my ear "everything ok from yesterday? Like with tayler?" I nodded and said "yeah, it's just how I'm leaving soon for school and it's gonna be him and Bryce for a while." Josh nodded while saying "I'm gonna miss you too you know." I smiled while saying "and I will miss you, but we still have a month together so let's make the best of it, right?" Josh nodded and we both walked to class.
When we got there we sat in our normal seats and took out our books to work. Jaden and Charli came in holding hands. I looked at them with excitement in my eyes then at josh with the same look. Josh laughed and they rolled their eyes. "Seriously Nik." Charli said while laughing. "You got some explaining to do girly." We both laughed and the teacher then came in so we stopped talking and did our work.
After the school day was over it was game time. I ran to the locker room and got changed into my uniform for the last time. It was kinda upsetting but I've come so far and I think I deserved this day. Once I got changed I ran out to the field and met up with the team. The seniors were acting like babies and it was pretty funny.
"Oh come on guys, man up. This is just the beginning of something awesome." I said trying to cheer them up. It worked because I got them to laugh. Coach then came out to the field by us and gave a whole speech.
"Ok boys and girl. Im gonna be honest, I wasn't too sure about this year once I picked out our team. But when we got nicole, I knew we were gonna win it all. Yes, you boys are good too so don't freak out. For our seniors, this is it. Your last game here at country high. But I promise you, if you all wanted you could al go to the big leagues. Especially you Nicole. I want to thank you all for making this season awesome and just allowing our school to enjoy the games. Now let's get out on that field and win it. Let's go!" we all smiled and ran into the field into positions.
