Chapter 45: phone call

~joshs pov~
When Nicole left I went back downstairs and cleaned up all of the messes from the party. My dad talked to me while I cleaned, I honestly didn't listen or care about what he said. "Hey dad.. have you heard from olivia..?" I asked, only because I miss her.

"She wants nothing to do with me. I haven't talked to her since she left, why?" If I left I wouldn't want to talk to him either. "Because I haven't seen my little sister in two weeks because all of the sudden mom just comes back. I want to see them. I want to know that they're doing ok." My dad just nodded at me. He didn't say anything, is he mad I'm worried?

"Well if you want to see how she's doing call her." I looked at my dad and said "what if she left because of me. Was I a bad brother or did she not like how I wasn't home a lot.." I think this is the first time I ever spoke to my dad about how I felt. I mean, I'm worried about my sister. "Son, this isn't your fault. She wanted to be with your mom because she's the only other female in this family and she needed someone like that. Obviously we couldn't help her with that because we have no clue what we are talking about."

I laughed a little. It's nice to talk with my dad.. he's understanding but I don't get why he doesn't like Nicole. "Ok dad, I'm done cleaning so I'm gonna go out." He nodded and I went to my room and got my phone and left. I called Nicole to see how she's doing but no answer. I called again but once again, no answer. Maybe she fell asleep? I don't know, she said her head hurt so maybe she's just tired.

I decided to drive over to Jaden's and hangout with him and have a bro's day. When I got there jaden looked like shit. "Yo what's up with you man?" He said "well, after the dance mads broke up with me. I mean I dated her for three years. Three fricken years and she just leaves?!" Jaden was in pain, I've never seen him like this. He's either mad or happy.

"Well, let's go out and do something. How about.. we got to the field and practice. That always makes us feel better." Jaden smiled and said "alright, let's go." We both got out of the house and drove to the schools football field. When we got there we had a catch with our ball and worked on kicking the ball through the posts (sorry I'm not too good with football). Jaden then said "so where's nik?"

Good question jaden. "I think she's home. She had to sneak out of my house this morning because my dad came home so she snuck out and went home. She said she didn't feel well so maybe she's sleeping.. she hasn't answered my calls." Jaden then said "did you ask her brothers?" I shook my head no and said "no.. should I?" Jaden said "I would.. to be safe. You never know with her." I laughed a little and took out my phone to call tayler but instead my phone rang with him calling me.

J: hey tayler
T: have you seen Nicole?
J: what do you mean? She left to go home this morning?
T: oh shit.
J: what do you mean oh shit..
T: our dad came this morning.. he knocked me and Bryce our and probably was still here when she got home.
J: so she's not home?!
T: what time was it when she left your house?
J: around 11:30 ish..
T: shit. Ok keep an eye out for her.
J: ok.. let me know if she comes home.
T: ok.

One I hung the phone up I threw it and yelled "fuck!" Jaden looked at me and said "whoa man.. what did he say?" I sat on the ground and said "she's gone. Her dad took her. It has to be that." Jaden's eyes went wide and he said "we will find her, it's alright. She is not going to give up." I nodded and bursted into tears. I don't cry a lot so jaden was pretty shocked. I could tell he wanted to also but he didn't because it would only make me feel worse.

"Come on. Let's go look around, and maybe not tell Charli. She will go crazy." I nodded and we got in my car and drove around for a while. While we were driving we saw Anthony and griffin walking so I pulled over. Anthony laughed and said "why are you crying you baby." Is he serious. "Want to know why?! Because my girlfriend is missing right now and no one knows where she could be. Her dad took her so who knows what the hell hes doing to her." Anthony and griffins faces went blank. "S-shes missing..?" I nodded and said "now if you see her anywhere please call me." They nodded and kept walking.

I looked over at jaden and said "you have any clue where she could be?" He shook his head "no.. how about we go to her house and try to see if her brothers could help us. Maybe they can track her location or something." I nodded and we drove to Nicole's house.
