I was sitting at the breakfast table, my eyebrows creased and my face tensed. When Dom sat coffee in hand, he asks "what's up?" His tone causal and light.
I nervously clenched my jaw and shook my head.
Dom placed his on my shoulder "talk to me but..what's wrong?"
I glanced at him and nodded.."I'm sorry for not telling you this early but Asher's my ex"
I waited for his reaction but there was noone..he just nodded indicating me to go on.
"Long story short...I truly loved him and all...but he betrayed me..saying he was just using me and never actually wanted me..and this broke me so much..and now out of nowhere he's back and he wants a second chance"
Dom sighed." Do you still love him?"
"I don't know..maybe I do..but he gave me the reason to hate him too.."
"My love forgiveness is a letting go of all negative emotions and memories..learn to forgive yourself and people who hurt you..no one can change what happened in the past but you can control what happens in the present and the future it's up to you...you need to let go of the grudges."
I nodded.."and if you still love him...if you know that deep down you still want him..Test him..see if he really is worth your love"
