You grinned as you stood in the corner of the elevator. Two more floors! Two more floors until you would finally get to see your boyfriend, Michael, for the first time in five months. You could barely stop yourself from dancing around, but you knew that the other people in the tiny room with you would not be best pleased if you just randomly busted some moves.
It seemed to be taking years to get to Michaels floor - you were practically aching to see him. The only person that knew you were coming today was Luke - since you did need someone to help you organise the whole trip.
Just as you stepped out of the elevator, your phone started buzzing in your back pocket. When you saw it was Luke, you almost didn't pick up. He would only call if something had gone wrong with the plan.
"Hello?" You answered.
"[Y/N], hey, where are you?" He asked in a rushed voice.
"I've just gotten onto your guys floor. Why?"
"We had to leave - the timings for this interview and performance thing have been changed so we're on our way to do our sound check now. Mike isn't in the car with me, don't worry, however Ash knows you're here now. He won't tell."
You clenched your fists to control your frustration - you felt like you needed to see Michael now or something inside you would collapse. You had waited so long and now your plans were falling apart.
"Luke, what do I do? I just want to see him." You sighed, finding yourself a little worried about how hurt your voice sounded.
"Don't be sad, [Y/N], Ash and I figured all of this out. Right, here's the plan," Luke began.
"Okay, so I've organised for a car to pick you up and bring you to the venue in like two hours - that will get you here just in time to see our interview and then our performance. He won't know your here as you don't get breaks at these kind of things, and you can wait for him in our dressing room. All of this means you'll get to see him an hour sooner than what you would if you waited there. Do you wanna go through with it knowing that?"
"Yes Luke, definitely. Seconds feel like hours when I'm not with him, so an hour sooner makes all the difference to me."
"That's disgustingly cute. We've got soundcheck, then a break before a twenty minute interview then we're playing like four songs to the live audience - so the whole thing should take a few hours. "
"Thank you for figuring it all out for me. I love ya," you told him with a little sigh of relief. Thank god for Luke Hemmings. You were almost bouncing with anticipation when you approached the little red door at the side of the big building you had been driven too. Half way through your journey, Luke had text you to tell you to go there and let him know when you arrived. You typed a simple text to inform him of your whereabouts, and two minutes later the door burst open with a smiling Luke. He enveloped you in a hug, telling you how he had missed you and how it was good to see you. In all your missing Michael, you hadn't realised how much you had missed the other boys as well. It hit you like a ton of bricks in that second, so you clung to him tightly and told him that spending so much time away from them all had torn you apart.
Walking down the corridor, you could tell Luke was a bit wary. He seemed to want to surprise Michael as much as you did.
"Right, I got Ashton to keep Mike busy and out of here. It shouldn't be difficult considering we're supposed to be on air in five." Luke said, pushing open a door which lead to what you presumed to be the dressing room. Your assumptions were deemed correct as you saw mirrors dotted around the room - which was messy with clothes, paper plates and glasses.
"Surprise," Luke grinned at Calum as you followed him into the room.
Calums eyes widened in shock and a smile spread over his handsome features. You immediately rushed over to hug him.
"I missed you so much," you whispered into his shoulder.
"I missed you too babe, what are you doing here?!" he said back, squeezing you tightly.
"I came to surprise Mike. Well, that and I've been missing you all like crazy."
You were interrupted by a loud knocking on the door and then a female shouting.
"CALUM, LUKE, WE NEED YOU NOW PLEASE," she yelled through the door. Luke ran to open it and beckoned to Calum that they needed to go.
"We'll be back before you know it babe. Not long now." Luke reassured you before they left in a hurry. You smiled as you placed yourself on the comfy sofa. Not long now.
You watched the boys perform their last song on the TV screen that hung on the wall. Now that it really was almost time to see Mike, you were shaking with nerves and excitement. Sweat coated his perfect features, which, oddly, turned you on further. Not long now.
They said bye to the interviewer and then they were off screen. You took a deep breath.
"Guys where are you going?" You heard Michaels voice shout from behind the door.
"Um, we won't be long! It's a surprise!" Luke yelled from a distance. The door handle was being pressed down, but Mike hadn't opened the door yet.
"Errr, okay then..." He half shouted, pushing on the handle and opening the door.
He was looking down at his phone at first, so you weren't the first thing he saw.
"Hey," you whispered, nerves creeping into your voice. His head whipped up, his eyes meeting yours.
"[Y/N]," he said in disbelief. His shock didn't last long as he practically ran across the room, kissing you passionately the second you were close enough.
"God you look hot," you mumbled onto his lips when he pulled away for air. That only seemed to make his need and desire for you higher as he pulled you back against him, kissing you hard as you both stumbled backwards, straight into the wall - making it easier for him to fit his body against yours in all the right ways. If this got any more heated you knew neither of you would be able to control your desires.
"M-Michael," you stammered against his lips, barely able to believe you were pausing this.
"Mmm," he mumbled, moving his lips to kiss up your neck. Your eyes fluttered closed in pleasure and your brain fogged over. How could you speak when this was how your body reacted to him?
"We- Ohh... We should wait until..." He sucked on your neck, right where he knew it effected you the most.
You paused your thoughts for a few seconds while he nibbled, kissed and sucked at your neck, no doubt creating a hickey that would give the world an insight on your love life later on.
"We should wait until we get to the hotel..." You finally managed after his lips came back towards yours.
"Probably," he whispered, kissing you before you could reply.
"Mike..." You moaned into his mouth. It was half protest and half pleasure. Well actually, it was more like 5% protest, 95% pleasure.
"Mmm..." He mumbled, barely even taking his lips from yours. His cool hands skimmed underneath your shirt and held your hips, making you shiver in a way that only Michael could provoke. His touch sent electricity though your skin, sizzling every nerve ending in your body so that your entire system felt like it was on fire. It was intense enough when he touched you through clothing, so when he grazed your bare skin with his fiery touch, you found it hard to move at all, much less to move away from him and his hands.
You yanked at the hem of his shirt, willing yourself to gain some control over your actions. However, you were surprised, relieved and dismayed when Michael stopped you from pulling his shirt over his head.
"No no no, you said we have to wait. You can tell me why you're here while we wait to be picked up though," he said teasingly, almost sounding like he could bear it as he took a couple of steps away from you. You raised your eyebrows but said nothing.
He clumsily dropped his body down onto the sofa, his eyes searching for yours and then beckoning for you to come sit with him. You grinned and wandered over, placing yourself down next to him. He wrapped his arm around you protectively, finally giving you that feeling of familiarity and comfort that you had been missing.
"Why are you here?" Michael asked, his beautiful eyes never leaving yours.
"I wanted to see you," you told him, blushing a little.
"Why? What's the catch?" You frowned.
"Why does there have to be a catch? Can't I just miss you?"
"Well yeah, but you wouldn't fly all the way over here just for a kiss and a couple of days with me, there must be something you need to tell me or confess to... Have you cheated on me?!"
"Michael! No! Of course I haven't! I just missed you! I'd fly halfway around the world if it meant I got spend five minutes with you, Mikey. I missed you a hell of a lot. I just wanted to see you, okay?"
He was silent for a few moments before he looked up from his hands and reconnected your eyes.
"I'm sorry. I just- it's just I don't know why you'd do that for me. I'm nothing special really." He said quietly, his eyes dropping to the floor again.
"Michael Gordon Clifford." You said, cupping his chin in your hand and tilting his head so you could stare him down. "If I ever hear you say something, anything as ridiculous as that ever again, I'll withhold sex from you. Got that?" You were using your serious tone, so if he hadn't nodded and given you a small smile then you would've told him that you were sleeping in a separate room tonight instead of with him.
You leaned forward and gently kissed him.
"I just missed you, okay?" You whispered as you leant your forehead against his.
"Okay," he whispered back, his solemn expression now brightened with a smile.
---
He threw you down on the bed, kissing you roughly. You were so distracted from the electricity Michael was sending through your nerves you barely even realised that he had taken your shirt off. His swollen lips trailed down your body; kissing from your jaw down to your belly button. Your eyes refused to stay open and your fingers scratched down Michaels back as he pulled your jeans down and kissed your inner thighs. Everything with Michael was so intense - especially when you hadn't seen each other in a while.
---
You wearily dragged your exhausted body to the bathroom, the dull grey light hanging over the room telling you that it was probably early in the morning. You squeezed your eyes shut as you flicked on the light; the brightness stinging your sleepy eyes.
As you were washing your hands, you gazed into the mirror and noticed a large mark on your neck that had definitely not been there earlier on. You leaned closer to the mirror to inspect that mark, and found that Michael had gotten a little carried away when you guys had been... Reconnecting. The hickey stared back at you as a smile broke out over your face. This was definitely going to start a few conversations.
"Babe?" Michael mumbled from in the doorway, rubbing his tired eyes. You jumped in shock and spun around, your heart calming as you saw Michael.
"Look what you did!" You laughed, pointing to the bruise on your neck.
He squinted his eyes and after a few moments chuckled throatily. He was a little slow when he had just woken up, so the realisation of what it was came a few seconds after.
"I think you need to be looking at what you've done to me!" He exclaimed, seeming a little more awake now. You narrowed your eyes in confusion, but he soon filled you in on exactly what he meant. He turned around, showing you red scratches down his back where you had dug your fingernails in earlier on. You gasped and brought your hands to your mouth in shock, a slight laugh escaping your lips.
"They don't hurt do they?!" You questioned him. He laughed as if it was a silly question.
"Of course not. I actually think they're kinda hot." He said, turning back to you and winking.
"I'll keep that it mind for later on then." You replied, returning his wink as you brushed past him to walk back to the bedroom. You knew his eyes had followed you purely from how the fact that you knew confidence was one of his turn ons. This was going to be a fun visit.
