Elsa felt tears falling from her face as Anna broke down telling her about the baby. She watched in pain as her sister ceased to talk and began to cry instead. Elsa's ears echoed with the sounds of Anna's sobs, and it was all Elsa could do to cry with her.
"Anna I'm so sorry..." Elsa said as Anna climbed into her sisters arms.
"Elsa it... it just hurts so much." Elsa gripped her sister in a hug, not ever wanting to let go.
"I know... it's okay..." Anna's sobs seemed to falter, the intensity fading and reduced to sniffles and heavy breathing. It wasn't until 20 minutes later Elsa had realized Anna had cried herself to sleep. Elsa lifted up her sister and placed her on the bed, she took the quilt at the foot of the bed and spread it over Anna. Despite being tired herself from the tears, Elsa decided that she better tend to other things first. "Sleep tight," she whispered as she left the room, being sure to close the door quietly behind her. When she turned from the door she saw Kristoff standing there, he was weary eyes and without his reindeer.
"Kristoff!" Elsa whispered yelled. "What are you doing?"
"I'm looking for Anna,"
"She's sleeping."
"Even better I need a nap. Get out of my way." Startled by the sudden aggression Elsa sidestepped and let Kristoff into the room. I hadn't thought about how this might be affecting him. I should talk to him when he wakes up, just to make sure everything is okay. Elsa continued down the hall after she was sure the king and Queen of Arendelle were asleep. She told Honeymaren she'd meet her in the middle of the plaza at 3, but to be honest, Elsa had no idea what time it was. "Hi Honey, sorry I'm late," Elsa said when she saw Honeymaren in the plaza, looking around confusingly.
"Oh Elsa! There you are. Don't worry about it, how are feeling today?" The two of them matched their paces and walked close by each other- their shoulders rubbing together on occasion.
"Well health wise pretty good, but mentally I'm fractured."
"I get it. When I saw them come off that ship I- I didn't know what to think. I didn't understand why they were being so secretive and why they were sulking, I mean you were dying but in the past when that happened Anna became a fighting machine determined to save you." Elsa stifled a chuckle.
"It's a long road ahead of them. I wanted to ask if they were going to try again, but now didn't seem like a good time."
"I really want to be an aunty now," Honeymaren indulged, "I mean I didn't even know until... well until it wasn't happening anymore, but after talking with people it seems like it would be kind of fun. Like a child except you're not responsible to feed if, water it, or give it a place to sleep. You just get the fun part."
"I hope this isn't your way of telling me you aren't going to feed my sisters children when they come to visit us, because we might just have a problem- especially if they eat like their father." Honeymaren laughed and the two gripped each other's hands and entwined their fingers.
"I really missed you Elsa," Honeymaren said as they arrived at bench next to a small fence that had nothing but sea beyond it.
"I really missed you too." The pushed their faces together and shared a kiss, when Elsa tried to pull away Honeymaren held her there for one more second.
"We should head back," Honeymaren said when she finally let Elsa go, "I need to talk to Rapunzel about our departure."
"Okay, I'm going to hang around the townsfolk for a bit, you go ahead, I'll catch up," Elsa said as she waved Honeymaren a farewell.

Elsa waited until Honeymaren had left before venturing in the now street lit plaza. The sun was nearly gone and a dim blue light was all that the sky could spare. Luckily the stone walkways were lined with lanterns and light posts so the townsfolk never lost their way. Not many people were left around, some children were called into a home and a man slipped in the shadows, no doubt hiding from someone. Probably his wife. The only place that seemed to have any notion of nightlife was a tavern about 50 meters from where Elsa stood. Music was being played on a piano and a string instrument- likely a fiddle, and chantries were sung slightly off beat. But it sounded like a good time, so Elsa went in. Immediately she felt out of place, her casual outfit- the light blue pantsuit- was extremely formal in this setting, and everyone was at least double her size. Large men in coveralls and torn sailor sandals paused the music and all eyes focused on her.
"Good evening," she addressed the crowd.
"Well look at this pretty little lady," one of the gizzards said, leaning into Elsa's face. She did her best to stand her ground but the hot rank breath of the man would have her passed out on the floor in no time. Luckily before he could get any closer a younger gentleman, definitely more refined and wealthier stepped out of the crowd.
"Now now now, boys, leave the girl alone. She just had a magically induced slumber for the past few days and is clearly her for a drink. Now back off," he winked at Elsa, which she did not know how to respond to. She would have found the man charming, maybe even kinda hot, had she not been a lesbian, but she was sure her sister would have an opinion. The man escorted Elsa to the bar counter and sat down beside her. "The name's Eugene," he said, offering his hand for a shake.
"Elsa," she replied, accepting the offer.
"What brings you to the tavern tonight?" Eugene asked.
"I don't know, just looking for something I guess."
"Looking for what?"
"When I find out, I'll tell you." The truth was ever since Elsa's coma she had felt different. Like she was missing an element of herself that she couldn't place.
"Ah, the next thing I need is another spiritual journey where a young girl embraces the world in hopes of finding herself." Eugene said sarcastically.
"Believe me, ive already had my fair share of spiritual journeys. The last thing I want right now is to embark on another one."
"Amen to that. Say, can I get you a drink?" Eugene offered.
"No thanks, I don't drink," Elsa replied. Eugene shrugged and pegged the bartender to get him a whiskey. A shorter man with a large nose wearing... a diaper, came up behind Eugene and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Your majesty there has been a feud over who gets which unicorns for the chess game. Gordon wants pink but he had pink last time-"
"Okay, I'll be there in a minute." Eugene replied, tipping back his head and finishing the rest of his whiskey.
"Eugene... Eugene fitzherbert. Your the King." Elsa said, finally working out why the man seemed familiar.
"In all his glory. You sure I can't get you a drink?" He offered again. Before Elsa refused she thought about it for a moment.
"Ah what the hell, one isn't going to hurt."

Consider yourself lucky this one turned out long. Well maybe not too lucky you might've found it boring. I am going to tell you right now that the one drink is realllyyyy going to hurt. Not terribly but she's gonna feel it. Okay have a great day you are awesome and thanks for reading.
