The journey back to Arendelle felt long, and because the destination seemed to bring pain Honeymaren was feeling a little bummed out. She had parted ways from Rapunzel and made her piece with Eugene. She may have scolded him a bit, but under the supervision of the queen so she kept it civil. She stared off into the sea and held Elsa's hand.
"What are we supposed to do when we get back?" Honeymaren asked Elsa.
"I'm not sure. Something usually comes up. Isn't your mercenary friend waiti Nd for you in Arendelle?" Elsa asked. To be honest Honeymaren had kind of forgot about Kassandra, Elsa reminding her had made her kind of embarrassed.
"Oh right, that's if she stayed."
"She stayed."
"How do you know?" Elsa looked at Honeymaren, that suggestive look in her eye.
"Anna told me everything. She was into you."
"No she wasn't, she's just a good person who was helping out for no cost." Hearing herself say it out loud only made Honeymaren believe it more.
"Honeymaren she's a mercenary, the only reason they do things ever is for money. This was a special circumstance or whatever." Honeymaren nodded and assumed the conversation was over.  " are you into her?" Elsa asked. Honeymaren looked at Elsa with surprise.
"No! Not really."
"Not really? So then there's a small part of you wondering what's under her hood."
"Elsa..."
"Relax honey. I don't care, your allowed to find other people attractive. I mean to be fair the mercenary was kinda hot." Honeymaren smiled and laughed.
"She was though wasn't she?" The two of them laughed and Honeymaren rested her head on Elsa's shoulder.
"Elsa... have you thought about marriage. For us I mean?" Elsa turned her head to look down at Honeymaren.
"I mean... not  thoroughly, but the thought has crossed my mind."
"It's crossed mine too."
"Is that something you want?" Elsa asked.
"Yes, and no. I don't know. One side of me wants the romantic forever story, but the other side of me wants to try something off road. And what we have is working why try to fix it if it's not broken?" Elsa said nothing and continued to stare at the sunset for a minute.
"You thought about kids?" Elsa asked, not making eye contact.
"Honestly... no. I guess because of our position I never considered it a possibility. But now... it might be something worth thinking about."
"I'm not sure," Elsa said," I don't want a baby. But a kid, I could do a kid."
"I feel like I still am a kid sometimes," Honeymaren laughed.
"Me too," Elsa said seriously. "It wasn't long ago I became of age to be queen. And now... now look at me. And us, look at us." Honeymaren stared at her girlfriend in the eyes and kissed her.
"Elsa, I love you so so much."
"I love you too Honeymaren. From the edge of the earth and back."
"There is no edge to the earth."
"Exactly"

The port arrival could not have come faster, Honeymaren was beginning to feel queasy after a couple nights on board. The Coronian ship was much nicer then the one they had taken from Arendelle, having a consistent leader made Corona strong, which Honeymaren admired. Stepping foot on the cobblestone ground of Arendelle's plaza however, was rejuvenating. Honeymaren couldn't wait to get back to the ancient forest, but she could tell it would be some time before Elsa was ready to return. Honeymaren felt Elsa take her hand as she watched Anna and Kristoff do the same. People of Arendelle applauded the Queens's returned, and prayed at Elsa's. The celebratory lights were up and instantly Honeymaren could tell there would be a celebration tonight. A celebration for their safe return and Elsa's life. She wondered how a celebration would affect the King and Queen, they were still grieving after all. The reindeer, Sven, carried Olaf on his back and raced into the crowd. Children swarmed them and Olaf began to tell them all about the journey.
"I am beat," Honeymaren said to Elsa as they followed Anna and Kristoff to the castle.
"Well don't put sleep on your radar yet. She's waiting for you." Elsa nodded to the left and Honeymaren could see Kassandra, her arms were crossed and she had a large smile on her face. Honeymaren broke off from the group to meet her.
"You stayed," Honeymaren said.
"Well you asked me too." She smiled.
"Come back to the castle, I need some coffee and a couch to sit on."
"For what?"
"You're my friend now, and frankly I don't know a whole lot about you. Im ready now." Kassandra thought about for a moment before nodding.
"Alright, let's go."

Elsa took the cups of coffee and passed them out. The mercenary nodded a thanks and Honeymaren gave her a small kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks love," the Northuldran said. Elsa folded her legs and leaned against the arm of the couch. The mercenary, Kassandra, sat adjacent to them, sipping from the mug nervously. "So," Honeymaren started, "Where are you from?"
"I was born in Rome but I grew up in Greece, thus the accent." Ah so it's a Greek accent. Elsa confirmed.
"What about your family?" Kassandra shuffles uncomfortably, suggesting those was a sore subject.
"I had one. My mother died 2 years ago. My brother.... he didn't make it either. He wasn't a good man, he wasn't the brother that I knew when I was younger, so really it's okay."
"What of you're father?"
"I wish I knew. The man who I thought was my father turned out to be... a liar. My real father, well he's a bit high profile so he hasn't acknowledged me yet."
"Oh." Honeymaren's tone was very bleak, Elsa thought that maybe her girlfriend had regretted asking.
"My life, it's good, I think. I meet people, I have fun, I make money doing it. Is it the life I pictured? Maybe not. But things happen for a reason. " Everything happens for a reason. Elsa thought.
"Hey Kassandra," she interrupted," are you planning to stay for the festivities tonight?"
"I hadn't thought about it. But it sure sounds like fun."
"You should say. You never know what could happen at these things." Honeymaren looked at Elsa suspiciously, but Elsa ignored her gaze. She was focusing on the woman sitting across from her. There's something about her... there's... an energy with her.

Everything happens for a reason. Well in the next chapters we have a small celebration. We have a web of energy within Elsa who's powers have been intensified and now a mysterious mercenary who has an energy within her. It's gonna be good, you'll love it.
