"Elsa I've been thinking a lot about what happened between my sister and I in Arendelle. And now that I know the truth I guess you're involved too. " Ryder looked at Elsa as he spoke, making her a little uncomfortable to say the least. "I owe you an apology, I came to your city I disrupted your people I hurt Honeymaren and I left you to pick up the pieces. I'm so sorry Elsa. I don't even want to begin to think about how this is going to bother me everyday for the rest of my life." Ryder stared at her for while whilst no words were spoken. Elsa had been expecting an apology at some point, but now that it was here she'd rather spare the awkwardness and live without one.
"I accept." She said, having no clue how to respond to that. " What you did was really wrong, and I know that you regret your actions and the thought of it bothers you so I'm not going to stand here and yell at you or anything. Besides I don't think it's my place." Ryder nodded before focusing his attention back to the trail ahead of them.
"I guess I should thank you, too," he said solemnly, this time not looking at Elsa which she appreciated. "You helped my sister, not just in Arendelle but in life. I haven't seen her so happy in years. Growing up I knew there was something bothering her, but after awhile I guessed she had figured it out. Seeing her now is a reminder of our past, she's bright, vibrant and so easygoing. For a while there she had seemed to loose focus on herself, and she disappeared." Elsa had to admit that Ryder's words rang a bell. They described her to T. Elsa had been playful to say the least when she was little, but after her incident with Anna she changed. But now she felt rejuvenated, like a part of her had been restored. She thought that was thanks to her journey in the Ancient Forest, but maybe she owed it to something else. Someone else.
"Honeymaren has helped me too,". Elsa started, "growing up a princess there was always pressure on you to find a suitor. Anna loves the attention and the game of it all, but none of the candidates ever... appealed to me. I know why now, but at the time I had no clue. I never thought love could be fun and easy going, it sounded like a job 24/7. But your sister taught me it's much more than that." Ryder looked at Elsa, wide eyed and absorbing her words as if they were a sacred text.
"Elsa you said love."
"What?"
"You said you thought love was like a job, until Honeymaren showed you otherwise. Do you love her?" This is typically the type of situation where Elsa blushes and starts to deny the accusation, however this time there was no blushing, and she felt confident in her answer.
"Yeah I guess I do."
"Then I give you my blessing." All confidence in Elsa now turned into an all to familiar wave of confusion and anxiety , Ryder's words had thrown her off balance.
"What?" She asked, panting..
"To marry her!"
"Oh no no no. Ryder I- It's to soon to think about that. We've only been dating about a month."
"Yeah but you love her!"
"Ok I know, but we have a lot to learn about each other still, and I still have a lot to learn about myself and this place."
"Oh,"
"Besides I don't know if... marriage- is something we want. Whether we are bound in matrimony or not we will still be just as happy." Ryder looked doubtful for a moment, but he smiled and seemed to understand Elsa's argument. Glad she didn't have to explain herself further, Elsa took this opportunity to escape. "Ryder this has been a good talk. I think we really cleared the air and I'm glad you initiated this discussion, but I'm ready to go back now. I'm starving."
"Okay Elsa, glad I could... make things right." Before Elsa could leave Ryder called her. "Oh Elsa!" Elsa turned to face him. "I'm not going to revoke my blessing."

Honeymaren tore into some Salmon, the rumbling in her stomach had become thunderous when the scent of fish had reached her nostrils. She was listening to Yelena tell a story to the young-lings when she was tapped on the shoulder.
"Did you save some for me?" Elsa teased.
"Oh I did, but you took so long I ate it."
"Haha," Elsa said sarcastically. The blonde took a piece of fish off Honeymaren's plate as she walked over to get her own.
"Hey you better bring back a piece for me now!" Honeymaren called to her. Elsa took a seer across from Honeymaren and dangled some of the fried fish in her finger.
"You want it? Come and get it." She put the fish in her mouth, allowing some of it to hang out by her chin. Honeymaren leaned in for the kiss the blonde so clearly wanted, taking the piece of fish with her when she pulled away. She let Elsa chew her food before bombarding her with questions about her conversation with Ryder. Only When Elsa had set her plate down on the stump next to her and leaned back on the bench did Honeymaren dare.
"So... how was your talk?"
"It was good you'know. He apologized, thanked me for being awesome then we chatted."
"Were you nice?"
"Yes of course I was nice. I'm not good with heart to hearts so I let him do most of the talking."
"So what did you guys chat about. "
"You, mostly."
"Me? What's you say about me? You didnt tell him anything..."
"About how you're an absolute pleasure in bed?"
"No Elsa! I mean... did you?"
"No, ewww. He and I aren't that close. Anna and I aren't that close."
"Okay so what's you say?"
"It doesn't matter. Can't a girl confess how she truly feels about her best friends sister?"
"You just said you weren't that close and now you're best friends?"
"We're on the way to BFF's, I'm investing in a locket next time we visitor Arendelle." Honeymaren laughed, truly glad that Elsa and her brother hand worked things out. Amidst her laughter Elsa got to sit beside Honeymaren, wrapping one arm around the brunettes waist. "You know, there is one thing I can tell you." Honeymaren's laughter faded as Elsa made eye contact with her. Honeymaren felt her heart beat pick up and had no doubt that Elsa's had too.
"What's that?"
"I love you," Elsa said before pulling Honeymaren in for another kiss. Honeymaren smiled, fighting the urge to break into tears and ruin the moment.
"I love you too."
