Anna pulled Kristoff onto the dance floor, she showed him her wildest dance moves and he tried to one-up her with moves of his own. Coincidentally this led to Anna tripping in her heels and into his arms. She looked up and smiled at him; and he smiled back.
"Anna, I know it's still early..." he said," but I still want a baby." She looked at him, and stroked her fingers on his face.
"I do too," she said softly before he pulled her into a kiss.
"Let's get out of here," he said, pulling her up.
"Yes let's." Anna smiled and let Kristoff take her by the arm. She caught a glance of Honeymaren, Elsa and Kassandra sitting at table as the lights and music faded behind them.Honeymaren sat next to Elsa on the picnic table, Elsa's hand was gripped firmly on the inside of her thy.
"So when you leave Arendelle, where are you going to go?" Honeymaren asked Kassandra.
"I still have business in Greece. There's a lot that needs to be done after a nation has suffered years of war. They need a leader."
"And you're that leader?" Elsa asked.
"Oh no, god no. But I know who is, it's a matter of convincing him to assume the role. Until the government is established and the people can elect their own leader, of course." Honeymaren was still hopelessly confused by Greece's "democratic" system as Kassandra called it. It seemed intricate and unnecessarily complicated, but at the same time it sounded incredible. Freeing. Liberating.
"Huh, so what happens after Greece doesn't need Kassandra the great anymore?" Honeymaren asked teasingly.
"I return to Rome, and make sure war stays off its radar." Honeymaren nodded, she actually hadn't expected Kassandra to have an answer. Honeymaren sighed and leaned back into Elsa, who blew softly into her ear. Honeymaren did her best to pretend it didn't happen, but she knew her reflexes, she was probably red as tomato right now.
"Elsa, can I talk to you for a minute?" Elsa seemed surprised but nodded. "Excuse me Kassandra."
"No worries, I'm going to check out the sweets table." Honeymaren nodded a thabks and stood up, taking Elsa's hand and pulling her to the edge of the crowd.
"Elsa what are you doing? I'm trying to talk with my friend!" She whispered-yelled.
"I'm trying to do a little more if you haven't picked up on it." Honeymaren sighed apologetically and took hold of Elsa's elbows.
"What's bothering you? Is it her? I told you you have nothing to worry about."
"No, I mean yes, but not for the reason you think."
"What's the reason?"
"It's hard to explain..."
"Try me. Elsa come on."
"Well... after Rapunzel used her magic on me I've felt..."
"Stronger?"
"Yes. There's a pulse, an energy or something that we share. That feeling... I have it with Kassandra."
"What are you saying?"
"She's like me and Rapunzel, she's got power. I just don't know what it is." Honeymaren looked skeptical at first, but her face changed when she looked at Kassandra, eating a tart and talking to a child.
"You're sure about this?" Honeymaren asked.
"Very sure." Honeymaren nodded and began to pace.
"Alright, we'll talk to her then." Honeymaren said after a few moments of silence. Elsa nodded and they went up to her.
"Kassandra-" Elsa started.
"Do you have powers? Like Elsa? Maybe ice or healing or something else?" Honeymaren interrupted. Kassandra crossed her arms and for a moment Elsa thought they had made a big mistake.
"I was wondering when you were going to say something." The mercenary said. "I could feel it from miles away. My powers feel-"
"Enhanced." Elsa finished.
"What are they?" Honeymaren asked.
"Come, I'll show you."They followed Kassandra out of the gates of Arendelle and up the mountain a ways before she came to a halt.
"Here is good," she said, "but you need to stand back. Far back." Elsa used her ice to create a bridge that allowed them to distance from the girl. They watched as Kassandra meowed a broken spear from a holster on her waist. She was chanting, but it was in another language. The spear was lifted to the sky and clouds started to swirl above head. Elsa gripped Honeymaren's hand and stepped in front of her. Then they saw it, the bridge of lightning connecting through the spear to Kassandra. She threw the spear and where it landed lightning struck. The static pulled the spear back to her and small charges of electricity came off her fingers. They walked closer to her, Kassandra's eyes were aglow in a golden light and electricity veiled her. Her smile remained the same however, she seemed to have it under control and let them get near.
"Oh my god," Elsa said, admiring the voltage emitting off the mercenary.
"Never would I have thought that I- that I would find someone stronger than me. " Elsa said in Awwe. Honeymaren watched as her girlfriend circled Kassandra, allowing her fingertips to be shocked. "This is... incredible." Elsa shot a small ray of ice at the sparks, only for the ice to be disintegrated in seconds.
"In my world there are many gods," Kassandra said," every once and while a child of the gods is born. I am called Kassandra the Electrifier in my home." Honeymaren started at Kassandra. She really did look like a god surrounded by the lightning. The gold light from her eyes faded and her irises returned to brown. The energy faded and the clouds subsided.
"It doesn't make sense," Elsa murmured.
"What doesn't?"
"The connection. Rapunzel, Kassandra and I, we all have this magic but it's not the same. I inherited it as the fifth spirit, Rapunzel recurved it from the magic in the flower and Kassandra got it from the gods. So why are we connected?" Honeymaren put her hand on Elsa's shoulder and Elsa used her other arm to touch back.
"Elsa, maybe it isn't the how. Maybe it's the why." Honeymaren said.
"Why what?"
"Why is your magic bringing you together?" Elsa looked to the ocean beyond and stared. She could think of a reason, but every part of here wished she couldn't. She needed more time.
"There's something coming," Elsa said.
"What?" Kassandra asked, moving to stand beside Elsa.
"I don't know. But it's a threat. I think we are supposed to meet because only together will we be able to defeat it." Elsa pauses for a moment. "Kassandra I think it's best you stayed in Arendelle for a while longer.
"Greece can wait. What should I do?"
"We need to send a message to Rapunzel, maybe she knows more of us." Kassandra pulled out a small scrip of paper and a pen. She wrote on it for a minute before she whistled and an eagle flew onto her arm. Honeymaren watched, confused as to why there was a bird and what she was sending.
"The Rapunzel of Healing-Tears, Kassandra said to the eagle. Be quick Ikeros, we will need you here." The bird screeched and the paper was taken by its talons. Ikeros disappeared into the night sky and Honeymaren picked her jaw off the ground.
"Elsa you should get a bird," she said. Elsa snapped and gave her a small nudge with her shoulder.
"I already have a fire lizard a water horse and a gust of wind to help me."
"Yeah but... a bird." They all laughed and Elsa made a slide for them to get off the mountain. The music from the festival had faded and only a few eager helpers were tidying things up.
"Guess that's it for the night." Kassandra said, putting her hand over her mouth as she yawned.
"I am beat," Honeymaren said.
"Why does this seem familiar to me?" Elsa said before taking Honeymaren's hand and walking back to the castle. Kassandra tailing behind.Everything was good until the fire nation attacked!!! Just kidding there's no fire nation lol I just thought it fit the situation. Let me know if you liked this chapter or if you didn't. Umm peace out I guess.
