It had been two days since they arrived in Corona, and although Elsa was looking better she was still unconscious. Honeymaren had to admit she was a little lonely. She missed Elsa, and her brother and the tribe. She felt like a real outsider here, and without her emotional support she was starting to break down.
"Something on your mind?" A voice asked from behind her. She turned to see Kassandra, who had evidently found some new attire here in the kingdom.
"Yeah, just the usual you know."
"Did it work?"
"I think so... but it's taking its sweet time."
"Good things come to those who wait," Rapunzel said, entering the room. Rapunzel walked up to Kassandra and shook her hand. "You must be the mercenary, I'm Rapunzel."
"Kassandra," she replied as she did a polite bow to the queen.
"Who told you that?" Honeymaren asked, referring to Rapunzel's statement.
"Oh just a figure from my past. She said it a lot, she was a liar so I didn't actually expect it to be true." Honeymaren nodded and continued to look out the window. This kingdom was truly beautiful, unlike Arendelle the colours were bright an vibrant, the familiar sun pattern was painted on the floor of the plaza which could be seen from all angles of the city. "Are you finding yourself at home?" Rapunzel asked, placing her hand on Honeymaren's shoulder.
"I am thank you. Elsa mentioned the beauty of Corona before but this is more then I ever imagined. It really is stunning."
"Thank you. Every year after the snow melts the citizens and I gather to re-paint the plaza. It's become a sort of tradition here."
"Elsa told me about the floating lights, what's that about?"
"Oh yes. Well when I was a baby I was kidnapped-"
"Oh-"
"Yes, and every year on my birthday the would send out lanterns in the sky in hopes of the lost princess finding her way home."
"Wow, that's kind of amazing."
"Isn't it? If you stick around a couple weeks you could see it." Honeymaren nodded and turned around to face Kassandra, who was silent in the back of the room.
"What about you Kassandra? Did you have any business here?"
"Other than exploring the world, not really. I find odd jobs other people wouldn't do to keep me busy, and fed." Honeymaren nodded but didn't press anymore questions, not infront of the Queen at least.
"Like what? You look very strong are you a wrangler?"
"Um, sure. Let's go with that." Honeymaren and Kassandra grinned at each other, but if Rapunzel had picked up on the subtext she didn't show it. Before anything else could be said a small, stout man ran into the room, panting.
"Your majesty, the Ice Spirit has risen!" Honeymaren's jaw dropped as she ran out of the room, excited to finally tell Elsa everything that has happened.

Elsa's head was terribly groggy, she blinked her eyes in attempt to clear them, hoping to make out clear pictures.
"Ughhhh," she groaned as she tried to sit up.
"Elsa no, lay back down." She eases at the sound of her sister's voice and she caught a glimpse of Anna's red hair, confirming that it was her.
"Where.. oh god, ugh where am I?"
"We're in Corona- Rapunzel's kingdom. She healed you." Tired from the dizziness and grogginess Elsa was tempted to go back to sleep, but not without seeing Honeymaren first.
"Where... where is Maren?"
"She's coming. Oh Elsa there's so much to tell you, I'm so sorry."
"For what?" Before Anna could answer the door swung open and there was Honeymaren, panting and staring at Elsa. The brunette smiled when the made eye contact and come over to her, wrapping her in a hug.
"Oh Elsa... I thought I lost you!"
"I lived bitch." They laughed and Elsa wished she had the strength to return the embrace. She made note of Rapunzel standing by the door, those green eyes were unmistakable. And one other person, a guard likely standing next to her.  "Rapunzel," Elsa croaked. "Thank you for everything. For healing me and taking care of my family."
"Anything for you guys." Elsa smiled as she felt herself dose off into another long slumber.

Honeymaren's smile faded when she noticed that Elsa had fallen asleep again. She wasn't sad per sè, she just wished she didn't have to wait even longer to talk to Elsa.
"She's okay," Rapunzel whispered.
"You did it. your magic worked!" Honeymaren Hugged the shorter girl who returned the embrace with a passionate hug. "I owe you twice now," Honeymaren said, causing a giggle out of Rapunzel. The grins around the room faded when all their faces landed on Anna who had curled up next to her sister and spoke softly to her.
"Elsa... I was going to tell you that you were going to be aunty. We were having a baby and things were going so well and then you collapsed and we had to go on a boat and... I lost it." Elsa remained frozen in place even as Anna began to cry. Kristoff collapsed in a rocking chair on the far side of the bed and covered his face with his hands. Looking at them, in this terrible time of grief Honeymaren couldn't help but wonder, if they hadn't taken Elsa to Corona would the baby still be alive?

Beep do boo boo bop. I know things are sad right now, it's going to get better I swear. Also start preparing yourselves I am planning on wrapping up this story in the next little while.
