ROSE DE GUZMAN
[5]

Ever since the vacant period, I've been listening and watching Austin Mahone's song: Shadow. I know singing this song to him is like confessing my deepest feelings pero wala na kasi akong maisip na ibang kanta na babagay sa kanya.

I'm currently reading a chord sheet for the song para mamayang hapon makapag-simula na ako sa pag-eensayo.

"Ouch!" my professor said.

She's beautiful but, at the same time, scary. She's wearing a red dress with her resting bitch face.

"Next time, look where you're going. Stop being a millennial stereotype."

Pinauna ko na siyang pumasok ng classroom. "Miss Lacson is really a bitch," God said behind me. "If I were you, I should be worried. You may be a rose, but she has all the thorns."

Tinabihan ko si God sa loob kasi mukhang kilala niya halos lahat ng mga professors namin, which is understandable because he has an older sister.

Before we start, as the director of this year's Showcase, I'll discuss first what to expect this year, since puro first years pa lang kayo," she said. The room is filled with whispers, halos lahat kami ay naging aligaga gawa ng kaba at excitement. "I expect silence whenever I'm speaking."

Ang taray nga niya. I thought to myself. God is right. She has all the thorns.

She clicked on the remote and a colorful table shone from the projector's light, "Each role needs a specific amount of points before a student could audition for it. Points can be earned by doing well in classes and extracurriculars. A week before the auditions, the tabulated points of every student will be shown in the main lobby's screens."
