I can't believe it. I'm back in being a first year. Now that the Welcome Festival is already over, every student in Melpomene is now expected to wear the prescribed uniform.
For the girls, the uniform is a black skirt and a white long sleeve top with black-striped collar. There is also a maroon pseudo-necktie sewn to the collar. Naalala ko 'yung unang beses kong isukat 'yung uniporme na 'yon. Muntik na ako maluha kasi it's perfect for my body shape!
Ngayon na nasa lalakeng katawan ako, hindi ko pwede isuot 'yung dati kong uniporme kaya I have no choice but to buy new sets of uniform. Ang gastos pala talaga gumawa ng bagong identity.
For the boys, the uniform is a pair of black fitted pants and a white long sleeve top with a sleeveless black vest. Same with girls, they have a maroon necktie pero hindi ito naka-tahi sa uniporme nila.
Tinignan ko ang sarili ko sa tanging salamin sa kwarto, sa banyo. Kung nasa dating kwarto lang ako, I'm sure mas maayos kong makikita ang sarili ko sa salamin sa may vanity table ko. This is such a downgrade!
Belle and Regina are right. I'm handsome. I guess, mapa-babae man ako o mapa-lalake, I'll always be pleasing to look at. In this 'God' persona, I still have my black hair and brown eyes. Mas chiseled 'yung cheeks ko and prominent naman ang jawline ko sa katawan na 'to. My nose bridge is also kinda okay.
Lumabas na ako ng banyo only to see Mikhael leaning on the wall, waiting for me. He's handsome, too. Tulad ng unang pagkakita ko sa kanya, his defining characteristics ay ang mga singkit niyang mata at ang kakaiba niyang necklace.
"Muntik mo na makalimutan," sabi niya habang inaabot ang brooch pin na kasama dapat sa uniporme. Here in Melpomene, all students are given a brooch pin with the logo of the school (a triangle with 2 wave-like lines sprouting on top of it) and a year number in the middle (roman numerals).
Pinagmasdan ko ang brooch pin na hawak ko ngayon. It's made up of metal alloy (para matibay pero hindi mabigat) and gold in color. I can't believe I'm a first year again.
Sinubukan ko siyang i-pin sa vest ko pero hindi ko makita ng maiigi kasi hindi ako nakaharap sa salamin. Babalik sana ako sa loob ng CR nang biglang kinuha ni Mikhael ang brooch sa kamay ko at siya mismo ang nag-pin nito sa akin.
"There! We're good to go na! Are you excited for your first day?" Mikhael asked. To which I reply, "To be honest, not really. Goddess kinda spoiled already what to expect on my first year subjects, eh."
