[6] The Head That Wears The Crown (Part 1)

"Is this the perfect fit?" I asked my friends, showing them my fitted jersey. After what happened in the roof deck, I've decided to use my male body to get to know Antonio better.

"Goddess—I mean, God," Regina said, suddenly conscious that we are in a public place. "Don't you think this is impulsive?"

Nasa loob kami ng Sports Center at bumibili ng jersey na babagay sa akin. Antonio is a member of the Football club at gusto kong sumali doon para makilala pa siya ng husto.

"Hmmm... the texture of the jersey is good and the fit for you is perfect!" sabi ni Belle habang kinikilatis ang suot-suot kong puting jersey. Dinala niya ako sa may salamin at sinabing, "Maganda ang katawan mo kaya 'di tayo mahihirapan humanap ng babagay sa'yo."

"Awww... thank you, Belle!" sabi ko sa kanya I looked at my reflection and can't help but to agree with what my friend said. I have a lean body and a flat stomach in this male form. Medyo malaki rin ang biceps ko, but not too much, since I'm not working out.

"Aren't we forgetting the most crucial thing?" Regina said. Tumingin kami ni Belle sa kanya, naguguluhan kung ano ang tinutukoy niya. "You don't know how to play foot-fucking-ball!"

Hindi naman mali si Regina. I'm not really the athletic type. "Maybe Goddess isn't, but I think God is," tugon ko sa kanya. Sa katawan na ito, mas mabilis at mas malakas ako. "I just need to be in the Team A para mas lalong mapalapit kay Antonio."

Inaamin ko na hindi ako 'yung pinaka-attentive na girlfriend. Looking back, Antonio is always there for me whenever I need him and I rarely reciprocate the initiative to him. While I'm in this body, might as well use it to get close to my boyfriend.

"You, being a guy, is just temporary," Regina whispered. "Team A are the ones who compete for inter-school contests!"

"Team A is also the team Antonio is in," I replied. "If I want to get close to him, I should be in Team A."

"Isipin mo rin 'yung pride ng Melpomene. Kapag naging babae ka ulit, the team will lose one of its members!" Regina said. To which I replied, "That's why there is a Team B."

"Pero Goddess—" sabi ng kaibigan ko pero 'di ko na lang siya pinapakinggan. Desidido na akong mapasama sa Team A para mapalapit kay Antonio.

Pagkatapos namin bilhin ang mga kakailanganin kong suotin sa Sports Center, sinamahan ko naman sina Belle at Regina mag-shopping sa loob ng mall. It's the only reason why I managed to persuade them to go with me.
