"Is this the right room?" tanong ko sa mga kasamahan ko. Pagpasok namin sa Room 428 ng Euterpe, agad kami nagulat sa mga kahong nakalagay sa gitna ng silid. The chairs are pushed neatly to the corners of the room to give room for 100 boxes in the middle.

Naglakad kami sa gitna para tignan kung ano ang nasa laman ng mga kahon. Binuksan ko ang isa at kinuha ang pastel pink na hairspray bottle sa loob nito. "Hairspray? Magpapaganda ba tayo ng buhok?" sabi ko sa mga kasamahan ko.

As if on cue, the speakers in the room turned on and the voice of Prof. Sebastian filled the audio. "On top of the teacher's table is chest containing the second clue for the next station," the voice of our professor said. We directed our gaze from the hairspray boxes to a larger chest on top of the table.

Kulay itim ang maliit na baul na nakapatong sa ibabaw ng lamesa. Agad na pinuntahan ito ni Damian para tignan kung mabubuksan niya. "It's locked," sabi niya sa amin at pinakita ang isang gintong padlock.

"Your task is to find the correct key inside one of the hairspray bottles and open the chest for you to get to the next station," Prof. Sebastian continued from the speakers. "Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor!"

"So what's the plan, guys?" Damian asked, walking back towards me and God. I tried to establish an eye contact but he kept avoiding me.

Dahil ba sa initan namin ni Gwendolyn? I thought to myself. 'Di ko na maintindihan si Damian. Kaya ko naman 'yun ginawa kasi siya ang unang umaway. I'm so tired of people limiting my capabilities!

"Ilang beses ko bang kailangan sabihin sa'yo na 'di ako katulad ni Goddess!?" sabi ko kay Damian. Kinuyom ko ang mga kamao ko.

"Wait, are you talking about m—" sabi ni God sa katabi ko pero pinutol siya ni Damian, "Rose, narinig mo ba ang sarili mo kanina? You're starting to sound like her! Iniisip mo na rin na ang mga pinapangarap mo ay ang pinaka-importante sa lahat! News flash, Rose, 'di lang ikaw ang may pangarap!"

"That's not true!" I told Damian. To which he replied, "I know Melpomene is your dream school, but if it's changing you to be the worst version of yourself, then it's not the right school for you."

Hindi ko alam kung anong sumapi sa akin pero napagtanto ko na lang na nasampal ko na pala si Damian. Tears started to fall from my eyes. "Enough!" God yelled, walking towards in the middle of me and Damian.

Bakas sa mukha ni Damian ang pagkagulat sa nagawa ko at hawak-hawak pa rin niya ang kanyang kaliwang pisngi. Pati rin si God nagulat sa nagawa ko sa kaibigan namin at binigyan ako ng mapanghusgang titig.
