Gabriella stood in the waiting room rocking Lavender in her arms. Corbyn and Zach were talking to each other as they sat together. Daniel glared at Jack. "Get out Avery," he snarled.
"What?" Jack asked looking up from his phone.
Daniel was practically shaking with rage. "I said get out!" he screamed and shoved Jack backward.
"No need to be rude," Jack stammered.
"Rude? What the hell is wrong with you? You almost killed Jonah. I'm not the one who' being rude. Now get out!" Daniel yelled.
Corbyn grabbed Daniel to restrain him from hitting Jack. "Calm down."
Jack took a deep breath. "I didn't actually think Jonah would hit his head and stuff," he stammered.
Zach rose to his feet. "Is that supposed to justify your actions?"
"You tried to get us to believe that Jonah was the enemy. You never even had a good reason for it!" Daniel snapped.
Jack stared at the floor. "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me."
A few minutes later a doctor walked out. "Gentlemen, he's asleep but stable. You can go see him now," he said.
The boys raced down the hall and into Jonah's room. Daniel put a hand on Jonah's shoulder. "Jon?"
Jonah moaned and turned his head so that he could see Daniel. "Hi," he murmured. "I'm sorry."
Daniel shook his head. "If anyone should be sorry, it's us. We shouldn't have mistreated you so much."
"You didn't know," Jonah muttered.
Corbyn sighed. "We did. I don't know what came over us. I'm so sorry."
Zach smiled and ran a hand through Jonah's hair. "I should've stuck to what I knew. I'm so sorry Jonah."
Jack stepped forward and Jonah frowned. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm so sorry. I didn't know that things would get so out of hand," Jack stammered.
"So you're only sorry that I ended up in the hospital?" Jonah muttered.
Jack stared at the floor. Jonah nodded. "Just get out Jack."
Before anyone could say anything Gabriella stormed in. "I'm done, Jack. You don't control me and until you learn that we're through!" she yelled.
Everyone stood stunned as Gabriella approached Jonah. "I'm so glad you're okay Jon. I was so worried. I wish I could've stopped it."
Corbyn glanced at Gabriella. "I think apologies are in order. We should've stuck with you and we didn't."
Gabriella looked at Corbyn. "I don't blame you but thanks," she said with a smile.
