You and Luhan is still in kindergarten, you like Luhan very much. For you, Luhan is like a prince in your dream fairytale. You always told your mom that Luhan will be your prince someday.
"Eomma~ Luhannie is my prince!" you said to your mom, your mom giggles, "Yes baby girl" then she pat dirts away from your dress. You wearing your favorite princess dress, it's your birthday and your mom invite all of your classmates to a garden party in your house.
Everyone is coming, except Luhan. You starts to worry. There will be no princess if there is no prince to save her.
"Eommaa~ where is Luhannie?" you starts to whine. Your mom pats your head, "He will be here soon, you'll see.." she said. You pout but continue to play.
It's blowing candle time, but Luhan is not there yet.
"What's wrong _____?" Chanyeol asks, "Yeth, whath wrong? You theemth worry _____-ie" Sehun said. You pout, "Nothing...". Chanyeol punch your shoulder a little, "Don't be sad, come on, you can play with us!", "Yeth, it would be fun!" Sehun said. You look at Chanyeol who wear a green dragon costume, while beside him there's Sehun wearing knight's costume, his right hand holding a small fake sword. You nod after hesitating, "Let's go!"
After for about half an hour (that you feel like forever) finally Luhan came in to your garden. He is sobbing, his mom is behind him patting his head. You and your mom approach him, "What's wrong?" you ask, Luhan still crying, "Come on, let's go playing." You said holding Luhan hand then pull him with you.
You bring him behind a big tree, you sit on the grass. Luhan is still crying, even he is crying he still look handsome. He wear a blue prince costume, with a little crown on his head. It suits him very much and his brown ash hair suits with the costume very well. You pull Luhan hand, "Luhannie, why are you crying? You don't want to come to my birthday party?" you ask.
Your voice is shaky, the thought of your crush not really want to come to your birthday party somehow make you feel hurt inside. Luhan shake his head immediately, "no! no! not that" He sobs, "so why?". He sits beside you and start to talk, "So this morning I wake up earlier so I can come to your birthday party earlier, but when I ask my mom about my costume she said she forget to borrow it from the costume store. It disappoint me cause I really want to be a knight, and I know Sehun want to be a knight also. I already have a bad feeling about that... Hhh" he sobs a while, "Then my mom bring me to the costume store and the knight costume is already borrowed. The man on the store said, someone from Oh family borrow it. I know it was Sehun!" he cries, you pat his back, "and then?", "and then the man told me just to borrow the prince costume, he said that I'll look good with that. I don't want to be a prince! I want to be a knight! But my mom borrow it, she said better come being a prince rather than not wearing any costume. He make me wear this costume, then I saw Sehun when I peek from the gate outside your house, he wear the knight costume. So I started to cry.." you nod, "but you look handsome in this costume, I like it anyway.." you smiles. Luhan looks at you, "really??" you nod, "Yeah... But why you want to be a knight so bad?", he sigh, "A knight is strong, I-I want to be a knight so I can protect you... so I can protect the princess..." his cheeks is blushing. Yours too, "But prince can do that too, even one day the prince will married with the princess", "really? well I never read princess story anyway..." He said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck, you giggle. He blush even harder, "Ohya I have this" suddenly he take off his tiny backpack and pull out a clumsy hand made flower crown, but it's still cute and beautiful, "This is for you, it's birthday gift, from me, and my mom" he said handing the flower crown, "for me??" he nods. He take off your tiara that your mom gave you, then replace it with the flower crown, "I made this, my mom helping also. Sorry if it's not perfect, but I make it with pink and blue flower, just like your fav color" he said then fixing your fringe, you blush "thank you so much, I love it!", "really??? I thought you will not like it" he chuckles. There is an awkward silence between you and Luhan. Suddenly you just want to kiss him, so you did. You peck him on his cheek. He looks really surprised, "what? why?", "nothing, but I want you to be my prince, Luhannie.." you said. He giggles, "I will be your prince, _____, for now and forever"
