I landed with a splat. But not on the ground, but rather a fluffy cloud. Rain. I internally thanked her and jumped off, landing gracefully on the ground. My brain clicked and whirred. The door was most likely locked. If I leapt into the air three feet from it, and gained exactly four feet in height, I could slam into the handle with my foot and have a 78.55% chance of breaking the handle. I leapt into the air at the precise time and slammed down with my foot, the impact jarring me.

The handle broke off and fell to the ground. I shoved open the door and stormed inside. It was pitch black. I closed my eyes. Darkness. A small hand wrapped around mine, and I looked down to see Zip at my side. I weakly smiled and looked behind me as Owl, Shadow, and Rain joined us.

Together we walked forward. Zip clung to me, probably thinking of the terrible things she had endured with the Black Jackets. I squeezed her hand. Rain created a small ball of zapping lightning and maneuvered it to float in front and above us. We slowly trudged forward, and I saw we were in a hallway with the dim light. It was slowly going down, and the air was becoming cooler as we went.

I almost bumped into a door, but the small light warned me before I had the chance. I stopped and tried the handle. Nothing. Brain whirring, I calculated how to open it, and resulted in breaking it in a similar way to the first one. We crept forward, on red alert for anything that moved.

Something shifted to the right of my vision, and I swiveled towards the movement, not very surprised to see a Robo-Gorilla- yes, a gorilla, standing there. It was bigger than a normal gorilla, with much thicker arms and legs that undoubtedly held strong technology beneath them.

Rain made two lines of lightning- pure energy- shoot into the animal's eyes. They went dim, and then lit up again. I wanted to snap at Rain but didn't have the chance. The gorilla, now fully powered, charged us.

I let out a battle-cry and leapt forward, but was held back by Zip, who tugged on my arm.

"Look," she squealed, pointing to Owl. His face was red, and I was surprised to see glossy blackish fur covering his body. A few seconds later, I was staring at a gorilla twice the size of the Robo one. I gaped, but had no time to say anything, for Owl had charged forward and slammed into the Robo-Gorilla. Four more Robo-Animals- a leopard, a wolf, a polar bear, and a moose all came out from the shadows. They were all twice the size of normal animals, and had red, beady eyes.

"One for each of us," I muttered, throwing myself forward to the leopard. If I hadn't known it was a machine, and it hadn't been trying to kill me, I would have thought it was beautiful. It's fur gleamed, and it's red eyes stared. It's large paws carried it slowly, and it's massively thick tail lashed side to side.

I saw Zip take the moose, Rain the bear, and Shadow the wolf. But I focused on the leopard. Only the leopard. It yowled and sprang forward, swiping a massive paw at me. I saw its movements- because I no longer had to close my eyes to see what was going to happen- a second before they happened. I dodged to the left, and then slammed a fist into one of its eyes, making it go dim. I skipped backwards as it growled and snapped at me. My hand was dripping blood, but I didn't care.

I rolled to the right just as it sailed overhead, landing behind me with an aggravated yowl. It spun around and faced me, charging. I flitted to the right, slamming my unhurt fist into its other eyes. It screeched and threw its head, attempting to locate me. I ran in circles around it, not making a sound. It could smell me- that I couldn't change, but it couldn't see or hear me. With precisely timed actions, I left fatal blows in the leopard's sides, denting the metal beneath. My hands were both broken, and bloodied severely. I was sure my feet were also broken, because I had discovered my kicks were more powerful than my punches.

The leopard also managed to scratch and nip me a few times. I was tiring quickly, and would lose if I didn't end the battle. My brain went over at least twenty different ways to kill it within a millisecond and I chose one, quickly going into action.

I leapt atop its back and clamped my protesting fingers into its fur. It yowled and tried to buck me off, but I held tight. I tugged, and heard a ripping sound. Another tug. More ripping. With a final heave, I tore the skin off of the creature's back, revealing mass technology. I plunged my hands into it and started to yank out wires in fistfuls. I had ripped out at least five inches deep worth of wires when it growled and collapsed.

I jumped off and observed the animal, pleased.

Then I fainted.
