Shadow retreated into himself, shadowing. He snuck through the slightly ajar door and slunk to the counter. A man, matching the store man's descriptions, was giving the taxi owner the money he had gathered. Shadow heard the man talking about a young girl three days before, who he had given a discount. The taxi owner wasn't happy about this.

Shadow went back outside and solidified. He nodded. "That's the guy."

"Ok, so, should we politely ask him to tell us where she went, or should we corner him somewhere?" Ivy asked. She had taken charge, being the only one who wanted to attempt to.

"He seems nice, let's be polite," Shadow said. Ivy nodded and the five leaned against the building. A few minutes later, he came out a started trudging to his car.

Ivy walked forward. "Excuse me," she said sweetly. The man turned. "Did a young girl of about thirteen come around here six days ago?"

The man nodded. "Brown hair, wild look in her blue eyes. Yeah." He shakily ran a hand through his hair. "Was sorta scarin' me."

Ivy visibly looked relieved. "Where did she go?" Shadow slunk away, shadowed, and went to investigate the car.

"Florida," the man replied. "I got her there in three days. Came back in another three."

Shadow stopped at the door and teleported through. Still shadowed, he rummaged around, his hands going through everything. Finally, he got to the log book. Shadow told Zip to distract the man, and she glanced at him. A moment later, she crept up to Ivy and said something, and Ivy gave a slight nod.

Shadow solidified and opened the book. He found six days ago, and saw a trip to Florida. The cost was originally nine hundred dollars, but the man had scribbled that out and put four-hundred-fifty. Half off.

Shadow teleported out of the car, shadowed, snuck to the back of the group, and solidified. Definitely her, he told Zip.

Zip told Ivy. "Thank you," Ivy said to the man. The five turned around and headed for their hotel.

Once there, they sat on the bed, all shaking with anticipation. No one was saying anything, so Shadow did.

"Bookie."
