Glorious! Simply magnificent. Golden archways greeted us. Their designs were extremely detailed, and obviously took a while to complete. I recognized the archways to be Ancient Greek. I touched one of the arches. Flawless. It was smooth and rough all at the same time. Beyond the archway was a grand room. The ceilings were fifteen and three quarters of an inch tall. In the left hand corner of the room, a grand kitchen stood, complete with a fully stocked fridge.

In the right hand corner of the room, there was a fire place. An Ancient Roman styled couch sat in front of it. Four different bedrooms branched off of the right side, while three bathrooms branched off from the left. I let out a sigh and called dibs on the largest of the bedrooms, which held two queen beds. Ivy called dibs on one, and I the other.

"I knew New York was fancy, but this. . ." I trailed off.

"I get you," Ivy breathed.

We all met up in the center of the huge room, which had a glorious, Russian designed coffee table in the middle of eight Egyptian chairs. Yes, I can recognize different styled furniture. Smartest person ever, remember?

So anyways, we all met up, sitting on those fluffy cushioned chairs and eating free New Yorker food. Burgers, fries, a few steaks. The people running the hotel believed that our parents were staying across the street, at the Marriott. They had lent us money to come to De La Fancy- yes, that was the actual name. Stupid hotel people. Believed anything.

"I'm going out on the balcony," Ivy announced, pushing back her chair. I winced as it rubbed against the flawless Korean tiles, and made a scratch. Rain hiccuped and burst into flames. Literally. It only lasted a few seconds, but her Egyptian chair was ash. I yelled at her for a good three minutes and twenty seven seconds, and then she cleaned up the splintered wood and threw it away.

I giggled. Then I chuckled. Then a snorted. Then I started full out laughing. The others joined in, and we were soon all sprawled out on the flooring, laughing our brains out. As soon as we calmed, someone would giggle and it would start over again.

"Enough!" I gasped, my eyes wet with happy tears. "I can't breath!"

We calmed down ten minutes later. I sighed and looked out onto the balcony. Ivy wasn't there.

Zip looked at me. I closed my eyes. Ivy's future! I screamed at myself. Blackness.

"No, no!" I burst out of the doors and looked over the balcony at the chaos below. Ivy could be anywhere. I could see Zip looking at the crowd trying to find Ivy. She squinted and squirmed.

"Nothing!" she cried, looking at me with panic. I looked down, and then over the left side. To an alleyway. Where Ivy was being dragged towards a door. Her hands and feet were tied, and her mouth had a gag in it.

I screamed one of my bend-over-groaning-in-pain-screams.

She looked up at me.

And then I hurled myself off of the balcony.
