Keep in mind that the swords I showed you last time is likely made out of iron or steel, but they are using wood replicas of them. It's weird but they don't want the Alphas to get hurt by accident.

Also, if last time you didn't receive a notification for Round Robin, then I suggest you read it before this. You will be very confused 🤷‍♀️

When the buzzer sounds, Myung wastes no time and launches himself towards the other Alpha, swinging his long sword down so that his and Yoongi's sword clanged loudly.

Myung dropped back onto his feet and whirled around trying to get into Yoongi's weak spot. Yoongi knows this so he steps to the side, narrowly dodging the point of the sword aiming for his shoulder.

He kicks one of his legs out, and lands it on the back of Myungs knees, making him buckle and stumble to the ground.

Using this chance, Yoongi brings his sword down on Myungs back, aiming to flatten him. Unfortunately, Myung narrowly rolls out of the way and is in his feet in less than a second.

Myung steps foreword and their swords thunked against each other, going into a joust. Yoongi and Myung pressed hard against each other, their eyes boring holes into each other's heads.

Yoongi manages to kick Myung in the stomach using a roundhouse kick, the other crashing backwards before getting back on his feet, wheezing.

Yoongi charges at him, swinging his sword up so it hit the hand which held the Long Sword. Letting out a yell of pain, Myung drops the sword onto the ground, which creates a cloud of dust. Yoongi quickly picks up the sword and aims the tip at Myung, preventing him from moving.

The crowd cheers loudly, and the buzzer goes off again to signal that their match was over. Yoongi helps Myung up from the floor and hands his sword back to the other. He could see the judges scribbling their scores on their whiteboards.

The announcer calls for Myung's name. The judges hold up their whiteboards for everyone to see.

7, 8, 7

The crowd applauded and Myung bowed to the judges. It was not a bad score, but it wasn't good enough to attract attention or guarantee you'll be safe from elimination.

The announcer then calls Yoongi's name. The judges scribble more numbers onto the whiteboard and held them up.

9, 8, 8

The crowd cheered, and Yoongi bowed towards the judges, grinning from ear to ear as he bowed and waved to the audience. He takes a glance at Jimin, who was sitting on the high rows reserved for the royal family. He was clapping and grinning from ear to ear. Looking away, Yoongi and Myung make their way back into the change rooms.

Yoongi barely has time to prepare himself before Jungkook and Kai jump on him, making him stagger. "You were awesome out there!" Jungkook squealed with Kai. "This means you can advance to the next round!" Yoongi chuckled and push the off of him, unbuckling his armour and sliding it off his body. It made a clanging sound when it was dropped to the ground and Yoongi picked it up, dusted it off, and returned it back to its locker.

"And I'm gonna use that time to sleep." Yoongi joked, shutting the locker closed and joining Jungkook and Kai to watch the next match.

"Whose next?" Yoongi asked, and Kai pointed at the board. "Gwan Dae and Yang Sam are next."

Below, Yoongi could see two figures dancing around each other. Since they were pretty high up, he could only see there faces on the screen. "Who do you think is gonna win?" Kai asked, and Jungkook shrugged, his eyes glued tightly to the screen.

"I dunno. They're both pretty good, around the same level I think."

On the screen, it shows Dae and Sam panting while hunched over, glaring each other as though they were trying to figure the next best plan of action. They could see the dirt caked onto their skin and sweat rolling down their foreheads. It truly was an equal match.

They scuffled around, edging each other on and trying to find an open area where they could attack. Dae finally saw an opportunity and dashed in, sweeping Sam off his feet and slamming his into the ground.

The crowd erupted into cheers as Dae straddled Sam so he could not move. The buzzer sounds and Dae gets off, offering his hand to Sam.

The crowd is quiet when the judges are writing down their scores. Finally the scores are on the scoreboards.

Dae got three eights, making the Alpha grin happily in satisfaction. He bowed giddily to the crowd as Sams score went up. He got two eights and seven.

As Dae and Sam retired from the arena, Yoongi and Jungkook whipped their heads to smile wickedly at Kai. "It's your turn~" Yoongi sang, eliciting giggles from Jungkook and a glare from Kai.

"Don't mention it. I feel like I'm gonna hurl." Kai muttered, Jungkook patting his back sympathetically. "Just be calm and remember your training! You're really good, so you'll do fine." Kai scrunched up his nose in distaste.

"Sang is good as well, heck, maybe even better than me." Yoongi whacked Kai across the head, the other yelping in alarm.

"Don't underestimate yourself like that." Yoongi scolded. Kai rubbed the back of his sheepishly. "Yeah, I know."

"Jongin? Sang? You're up next!" Kai stood up and head towards the door, mouthing, "wish me good luck!"

Then he was gone.

Yoongi and Jungkook turned around to watch the screen, and when they see Kai, they cheer loudly, gaining multiple glares from the others.

The buzzer sounds.
