Jungkook leapt back, landing on the ground and skidding. Bora was actually a lot better than he thought he was, effectively managing to keep him at bay.

Gripping his katana tightly in his hands, Jungkook studied the way Bora moved, and tried to get sense of his patterns. Bora tended to use flashy movements, spinning around as elegantly as one could spin, with big movements that were unpredictable. That was what made it hard for Jungkook to get closer.

He didn't know if Bora was doing it because he knew it was unpredictable, or he was trying to woo the judges.

Considering Bora isn't the brightest Alpha out there, he probably is trying do the latter.

Bora charged at him, doing all sorts of fancy moves like he is trying to intimidate Jungkook. He slashes down, only to be caught by Jungkook and swept off his feet.

Bora managed to avoid touching the ground by sticking his sword into the ground and doing a flip over it.

Bora was actually really good at flips it seems.

Jungkook took this chance to charge foreword, his katana rotating in his hand as he attacked, Bora reacting quickly and blocking. Right after he did so, Bora shoved his sword to the side and tried to punch Jungkook in the face, who just narrowly avoids it.

Jungkook returns with a punch and kick to the gut, which lands successfully and makes Bora wheeze. The other backs a few steps away, and Jungkook follows him, spinning his katana in his hand as he whacks him in multiple places.

His thighs, abdomen, back.

Bora managed to get away from Jungkooks flurry attacks by ducking his body down low enough and sweeping Jungkooks legs under his feet.

Jungkook lands on his back, breath hit right out of him. He managed to react quickly when he sees Boras sword coming down on him, using his arm to block the attack.

It hurt like hell, and Jungkook gritted his teeth as his arm throbbed. Bora raised the sword again and this time, Jungkook rolled away, his left arm hanging limply and his katana held in front of him.

Moving his arm rewarded him with a sharp shooting pain down it, and Jungkook vaguely thinks that his arm might be fractured.

He looks back at Bora, and is startled to see Bora staring at his left arm, with an almost insane grin on his face. Jungkook feels chills go down his spine and the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.

What the hell?

The other Alpha stalked forewords, creepy smirk never leaving his face as he circled Jungkook like a cat with his prey.

He was so different from before.

Bora lunged, slashing his sword crazily, like he forgot the training he had received for the past few weeks in favour of random movements. Jungkook backed away, dodging all the blows that were directed at him, panic starting to flare in him.

Bora lets out a loud growl, and that makes everyone go silent. He grinning wider now, with the cameras capturing every move. He had abandoned his sword in favour of using his nails to scratch at him.

Isn't this wrong?

The audience thought so too, screaming at the referee to stop the match because obviously, there was something wrong.

Something changed.

Bora lunged, and Jungkook did his best to defend himself since it seemed like Bora was trying to seriously harm him.

Jungkook smacked Bora across the face with the flat side of his katana. Since Bora practically lost all sense of consciousness, he was easier to catch off guard.

Bora landed on the ground with a dull thud, and was immediately back on his feet, snarling now, his canine teeth elongated and looking absolutely feral.

By this time, Jungkook was positive Bora was sick.

Jungkook circled Bora warily, Katana held tight in his grip. When Bora jumped again, Jungkook was ready.

He slammed Bora face first into the dirt and immediately crawled on top of him, pressing the handle of his katana onto Boras shoulders to keep him down. Bora struggles, thrashing as hard as the restraints would let him.

Letting out a grunt, Jungkook slammed his fist down on the side of Boras head, making the other go cross eyed. Jungkook took this chance to pin his arms to the side of his body with his knees.

After a few seconds, the buzzer sounds, but Jungkook doesn't let up on Boras struggling body. He sees several guards rushing into the arena, with a cage and a chain. They wrap a collar around Bora's neck, albeit with some difficulty from how hard Bora was wriggling around. From there, they shove him into the cage, where his snarls and growls could be heard.

Jungkook stands up unsteadily to his feet. The crowd isn't cheering, a bit shocked at what had taken place.

He takes a few steps before seeing a droplet of red on the ground.

It's his leg, claw marks that were red. Strange. He hasn't even noticed he was scratched.

Back in the waiting room, there were doctors there, ready to treat him. Yoongi and Kai were also there, looking at him worriedly.

"What the hell happened?" Kai asked, and Jungkook shrugged. "I don't know. I think it started when he hit my left arm, and I think I showed that it hurt. From then, it just all went down in a downwards spiral."

"Damn," Yoongi said. "You think he'll stay?"

This time, the doctor looked up to meet his eye. "He won't. Not after something like this." Then he went back to bandaging his leg and providing a splint for his arm.

"Since it's your left arm." The doctor continued. "You may be able to keep on competing. However, I recommended keeping the cast on, and not use it at all. I'll talk to the referee and tell him, that if anyone touches your left arm on purpose, then they'll be disqualified."

They thanked the doctor, and guided Jungkook to a seat.

"It's your turn next, isn't it Hyung?" Jungkook asked, and Yoongi nodded. "Yeah. They aren't doing the point system again right? Since that's been decided already in the first round? By the way Kook, your score was 9,8,8."

Kai nodded. "Yeah, so now, just focus on winning."

"Thanks Hyung. What about Bora then?" Jungkook pointed out. "He's been disqualified, so does that count as one of the people who are leaving after this is finished?"

Yoongi shrugged. "We'll have to see."
