•They left the castle bright and early the next morning, quietly slipping out as to not disturb the other residents of the palace.
With them, was a small entourage of guards that would patrol the area surrounding the seaside villa they were going to.
At first, the Queen insisted that Jimin would bring his personal butler, but Jimin refused, saying that the purpose was to get to know the winner one on one for a few days.
The Queen eventually agreed, but Jimin couldn't do anything about the guards, especially what happened during the tournament.
Oh well, as long as they don't interrupt him and Yoongi.
Speaking of the Alpha....
Jimin takes a peek at Yoongi, who's chin was leaning on his palm, staring out the window of the car. The side view showed his sharp jaw, the upwards curve of his eyes, and the small upturn of his cute button nose.
Sensing eyes on him, Yoongi turned around and caught Jimin watching him.
Jerked out of whatever mindset Jimin was in, the prince whipped his head around to look out of the other window. Yoongi smiled at the action and resumed what he was doing before.
It took roughly six hours to reach their destination, Yoongi and Jimin falling asleep halfway, snoozing on the walls of the car.
Yoongi is woken by the sudden stop, falling forewords before waking up to stabilize himself. He looks to his right to see the prince still asleep, lips twitching every now and then.
The doors swing open, and Jimin, who was leaning against that door, falls right through. In a panic, Yoongi lunges foreword just in time to grab a fistful of Jimins clothes.
He could tell Jimin was awake by now, if the way the prince shrieks and flails his arms were any indication.
The guard who opened the door apologized profusely. After all, he almost caused the prince to crash into the ground. Jimin waves him off with an easy smile, telling him that it was okay and he wasn't hurt in anyway.
Now that Yoongi made sure that Jimin was unharmed, he turned his focus onto the land they were currently on.
It was a humungous private property, spanning 10 acres along the beach front. The salty and slightly fishy smell of the ocean permeated the air. It was a nice change to the city they had just left.
The villa itself was incredibly modern looking, with large glass panes and open room.
When the guards grabbed ahold of their luggage, Jimin took a hold of his hand and led them inside.
The inside was even more impressive than the outside, with light coloured wood and white walls. The furniture was plush and luxurious, almost as good as the ones back in the palace.
The bathrooms, were huge. The shower in the back of the bedroom was two times as large as the normal squared cubicle shower. Compared to the tub Yoongi and his family used back home, this was on a totally other level. Even the one back at his room at the palace wasn't even good as this, suited for one person.
Does this mean that it's meant for two?
Along with the shower, there was an additional hot tub and a sauna, with oil and bathrobes already in place. Yoongi had to try that at least once.
During the entire time Yoongi explored the villa, he noticed one thing. There was only one bed, which was a king sized bed on the second floor, which overlooked the ocean.
He had stood there for such a long time, and didn't notice when Jimin came to stand beside him.
"I hope you don't kind using the same bed." Jimin says, looking at him. Yoongi shakes his head. "I-I don't mind."
Jimin's smiles at him before moving towards the open balcony.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" He sighs, leaning on the edge and staring out towards the horizon. "I've always loved the ocean, loved the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the sound of seagulls." Jimin chuckled before standing back up.
"Let's go back downstairs. I think the guards are done packing by now."
Yoongi follows Jimin down the stairs, and like the prince said, the bags were unpacked, and the clothes somewhere in the house. Probably hanged up.
The efficiency of the guards was kinda surprising.
"You hungry?" Jimin asks, and Yoongi nods. The peer into the fridge to see various meals in containers stacked on top of each other.
"Jinnie came in yesterday to cook these for us since I requested there not be a chef." Jimin explained, taking out a container and peering at the label. There only enough for a day though, just in case we're lazy and don't wanna cook. Like today."
Jimin took out several of the containers to show Yoongi. "Choose one you want and I'll heat it up."
Yoongi ended up choosing a pasta he didn't know how to pronounce, and Jimin went with pasta too. "So we match." Jimin says happily while he's heating up their meals. Yoongi doesn't know how to reply to that comment, so he just kinda sits there, watching the food heat up.
Despite people saying that re-heated food is never as good as fresh cooked food, the meal was still heavenly, and Yoongi thanked the gods for Jin becoming a chef at the royal palace.
"Jinnie's good at cooking right?" Yoongi nods, blowing a bit at his food to distribute the heat evenly.
They are silent while they eat, the food delicious and rich. When they're done, they sit back with full stomachs.
"Despite all that, I still want to eat more because it's so good." Yoongi admits and Jimin chuckles. "Me too."
They share a look before Yoongi standing up from his chair.
"What do you want this time?"
"Hmmm, I'm thinking some fruit or salad."

So I'm putting Elysian on hold to focus on this book. Working on two books at once is not a good idea lol.
I felt that before I started Elysian, I was more motivated to write chapters. I think it's because I only stick to one. But now I have trouble thinking of what to write next, and I blame it on alternating between two AUs 😂
So basically expect more frequent updates on this book from now on. ❤️❤️❤️
