Cheyenne's POV:
I was on the ship, as usual. Jee was telling us what they heard about the avatar, basically nothing. "We haven't been able to pick up the avatar's trail since the storm, but if we continue heading northeast..." Lieutenant Jee was interrupted by a big fire nation ship stopping next to us.

"What do they want?" Asked Zuko. "Nothing good, I'm guessing." Zuko nodded as to say he agreed with what I said. "Perhaps a sporting game of Pai Sho." Iroh smiled at his own words. "I doubt that."

Some minutes later fire nation soldiers boarded our ship. We were in the control room, as a soldier held out a poster for us to read. "The hunt for the avatar has been given prime importance. All information regarding the avatar must be reported directly to Admiral Zhao."

"Admiral? Wasn't he a Commander two days ago?" I asked, more to myself than anyone else. "Zhao has been promoted? Well, good for him." I rolled my eyes at Iroh's words.

"I've got nothing to report to Zhao. Now get off my ship and let us pass." The soldier shook his head. "Admiral Zhao is not allowing ships in or out of this area." Informed the soldier.

"Off my ship!" Snapped Zuko. I nudged him, so he understood he had to cool down. "Excellent. I take the pot. But you're all improving. I'm certain you will win if we play again." Said Iroh to the crew that played against him at Pai Sho.

"Don't let him fool you," I said before I approached Zuko, who was staring out the window. "What's so interesting about those waves," I said as I looked at the spot he kept staring at. Zuko rolled his eyes before he faced me.

"Zhao is up to something bad, and I can feel it." I nodded in agreement and he looked away. "I'm going outside to practice firebending forms." He left, and I felt that he knew more than what he showed, little did I know.

I was on deck, watching Zuko through his forms. Iroh came later on. "Is everything okay?" I shrugged at Iroh's question. "It's been almost an hour and you haven't given the men an order."

"I don't care what they do." He said as he stopped training. "Don't give up hope yet. You can still find the avatar before Zhao." Iroh tried to lift Zuko's hopes. "How, uncle? With Zhao's resources, it's just a matter of time before he captures the avatar. My honour, my throne, my country-- I'm about to lose them all."

Iroh gave me a sad look before he left. When Iroh left I approached Zuko. I rested my hand on his shoulder and gave it a gentle squish. He looked at me before he rested his head on my shoulder. I blushed at the sudden physical contact.

We stood like that for some time before he left for his quarters, leaving me blushing with my heart racing. 'Do I like Zuko? No... It's impossible.' I thought as I shook my head, trying to brush away my thoughts.
