III: Zhao

"LARA...?"

Cheyenne's POV:
After the Avatar 'escaped', our ship was damaged, seriously damaged. We had to stop in a harbour. Zuko was impatient so once the ship was docked we all exited the ship. When I got out I saw the other ships, which were two times bigger than our ship. I was so immersed in my thoughts that I bumped into someone. "Hey look- Lara...?" I looked up to see a Fire Nation soldier. 'Lara? Is he...? What?' I thought.

"Sorry, I've mistaken you with someone else." And as he said that he walked towards Zuko to interrupt their conversation. I walked up to Zuko and I stayed by his side. "Captain Zhao." I was right, this guy is Zhao. My mom told me lots of things about him, and if it wasn't for Zuko and Iroh I'd make him pay for all the pain he had caused.

"It's commander now." He corrected. 'I hate this guy, and I've just met him.' "And General Iroh, a great hero of our nation." He said while he bowed. He then looked at me. "And you are?" He asked. "I'm Cheyenne." I simply answered, he nodded his head and then he faced Zuko and Iroh again. "The fire lord's brother and son are welcome guests anytime. What brings you to my harbour?"

"Our ship is being repaired," Iroh answered simply. "That's quite a bit of a damage," Zhao said, to which Zuko replied. "Yes. You wouldn't believe what happened. Uncle, tell Commander Zhao what happened." Iroh looked very worried, he didn't know what to say. "Yes... Well, maybe Cheyenne should do that." Now all of them were looking at me. I wasn't sure about what to say.

"It was incredible. What, did we crash or something?" Zuko quickly answered. "Yes! right into an earth kingdom ship." It was a weird story, but hopefully, it would work out. Spoiler, it didn't. "Really? You must regale me with all the thrilling details. Join me for a drink?" He got dangerously close to Zuko. 'This guy is scary and crazy, that's a bad combo.' I thought as I looked at them both.

"Sorry, but we have to go." Zuko was already leaving when Iroh grabbed him by the shoulder. "Prince Zuko, show Commander Zhao your respect. We would be honoured to join you.  Do you have any Ginseng tea? It's my favourite." Iroh had accepted because of the tea, I bet he didn't care about respect. I walked next to Iroh as he and Zhao entered a tent. Zuko was behind us, also, he was annoyed. Zhao explained to us all the tactics the fire nation had planned to win the war.

"And by year's end, the Earth kingdom capital will be under our rule. The fire lord will finally claim victory in this war." Blah, Blah, Blah, and something about destroying the world, that's all I heard.

"If my father thinks the rest of the world will follow him willingly, he's a fool." I rolled my eyes at that. "If they're threatened to be killed, I don't think it's considered willingly." Everyone was looking at me now. Zhao smiled, it was a creepy smile though. "You have a sharp tongue for being a girl."

"Why does being a girl have anything to do with my sharp tongue?"What a stupid guy, he should know better than to try to pick a fight with me. "Well, Pretty girls stay quiet when men talk about the war." I decided to shut up before I got into more problems."So, how's your search for the avatar going?" After he said that some fire nation spears fell to the ground, to which Iroh apologized. "We haven't found him yet." Said Zuko. "Did you really expect to? The avatar died a hundred years ago along with the rest of the airbenders. Unless you found some evidence that the avatar is alive."
