Cheyenne's POV:
Life has never been easy for me, but I've accepted it. Ever since I came across the opportunity to travel with Zuko and Iroh, my life changed drastically. And it was not necessarily for the best, because I developed a dependency on Zuko and Iroh. I basically couldn't be lonely.

Maybe it is also the fact that we were being chased by the fire nation so we had to hide in the enemy's capital. Yeah, I guess it was both. So, when Iroh insisted on Zuko and me going on a date, well, let's say I was relieved. Relieved in the sense that I wouldn't have to be wandering around all alone. Also, Ba Sing Se gave me the creeps.

"Are you ready?" I heard Zuko ask from the other side of the room. I looked at myself in the mirror once again. I looked at my black hair held tight in a bun. My eyes trailed down to my dress, which Iroh helped me pay for. I smiled widely while I answered.

"Yeah, I'm ready." I opened the door right after, and I found Zuko standing in front of me. Zuko looked at me up and down and then looked away. "You look very nice." He said while he blushed, which made me blush too. "Thanks. You look nice too."

We stood there in awkward silence for a bit more. I cleared my throat, to which Zuko spoke up. "Well, we should get going to the restaurant." I nodded and we both headed there. We walked silently through the streets of our neighbourhood.

When we arrived we sat at the table that had been prepared for us, which was next to the window. "Would you like to order already?" Said a man who approached our table. "Uh... Yeah, sure. Do you know what you want?" Zuko asked me. I nodded and we both ordered. When the man left we stayed in silence again. I sighed before I spoke. "You know, I think we are being very weird about this because it's a date. Maybe we should try to... Do the usual?" I asked, still not sure as to why we were being so childish about it.

"Yeah, you're right. We are being irrationally weird about this." Zuko and I laughed and then we kept talking until our food arrived. We then ate as we would normally do, joking around and just having the usual fun.

"You know, I can't believe you never ate dumplings." I rolled my eyes at Zuko's comment. "Well, I wasn't as lucky as Zuzu when I was born, so I'm poor," I explained as he widened his eyes. "Well– I did not mean it that way– I was just... uh." I hushed Zuko as he stammered.

"I know what you meant, I'm not mad, I'm just teasing you," I said with a smirk. He rolled his eyes. "Whatever." He said as we kept walking until we reached our apartment. Iroh greeted us once we got in.

"Well, did you guys have fun?" Zuko and I looked at each other before answering. "Yeah, it was very refreshing to spend the night for us." Iroh smiled as he nodded. "Well, I'll be heading to bed now. I'm exhausted." I mentioned as I walked past both of them. "Good night," I said and they both replied to me with a 'good night'. What a nice day.
