i decided to be brave today.
what did i have to lose?
i walked into my fathers office and didn't give him a chance to question why i was here. he simply waited for me to speak as i spoke into the silence.
"i'm still seeing Hoseok. we're together and you can't tear us apart. there's no reason to when we make each other so happy."
it's now that i realised how tired he looked. his grey hairs were showing and i don't know why i was so surprised to see no life in his eyes, they've always been bleak. "thank you for your honesty." he croaked out.
"dad?"
he burst out crying.
he was so out of control in that moment. he didn't bother to wipe away his tears, he just hunched his shoulders and cried in front of me as i stood there. i didn't know how to comfort him and i didn't know what to say.
so i cried too.
it turns out that my father was going through a gradual change all this time. he had met up with Hoseok before i had told him, wanting to know more about the boy who made me feel love.
