Eighteen

Jennie POV (fast forward)

I looked down to the paper our prof. gave us, it's a schedule paper..

Next week, this will be implemented.. gosh, I feel nervous... I'll be going to another room for the particular subject

"Jennie.."
     Someone pulled me from my seat and bring me to nowhere...

I can't see his face, his back facing me.. a familiar back.. I wanted to pull back my wrist but he's strong..

I took minutes of pulling me, we go upstairs and We came to the rooftop of the building..

"Why do you have to lie?"
      He said and face me..

"Taehyung? What do you mean?"

"Don't lie, you can't deny anything now..."
     He said..

Then I got what he means, he wanted me to talk about his memories again.

"I've told you.... I don't know you!"
     I lied once again..

He smirked on me.. but his eyes shows his anger..

"Then explain your lock screen wallpaper!"
      He yelled

Then I look to my phone to see what he means, and my eyes just widen as I saw it.. me and Taehyung..

"Jennie, please... you don't have to lie.. just tell me about you.. that's all.. please.. stop lying"
     His voice turned to soft one.

He cupped my both hands with a pleading face, I wanted to cry now again.. why does this man gives a huge impact on me.

I pulled my hands back and face him with all confidence.

"You know what? You're crazy"
    I said to him..

"Explain the wallpaper"
    He said

"Oh this? This was just an edit.. you know? The first time I saw you, I have a crush on you.. so I edited it.."
     I lied.. an impossible lie

He stopped for a moment and stared at me.. sadness on his eyes is now shown

"I don't have any picture of that...! so please stop!! You're making me insane Jennie! Please!"
     A tear just dropped from his eyes, it's my first time after 2 years seeing him cry.. I feel the guilt..

"My mom lied! My sister lied! And you now!! You lied! The only hope I have to gain my memory back...!"
    He added and the tears of him streams fast..

I have nothing to feel other than guilt and longing of him, I can't say a word, the man is begging, pleading to me to stop being selfish to him..

The tears I'm holding just went down... i left him there crying, I left them all and just fix my things and never bid goodbye even to the girls...

I'm crying as I took the path going to my apartment..

A thought came...

You know what Jennie? You're going insane, you wanted him to talk to you and then now that he talks to you, you just avoid him and lied once again..

Jennie, When will you stop? Jennie, you're hurting the man you love! He just wanted the truth, his past.. his memories with you and with others..

Maybe, I'm really selfish... I'm thinking of his own good life but lying to him, I'm thinking that we could have peaceful life yet mine is miserable, him is full of lies..

What should I do now? I can't deny this, first thing is my wallpaper, second is Jimin knows, third is his dreams.. I'm not dense knowing that there's a glimpse of memory came to him...

I change my clothes and go to cafeteria, Im a little bit sleepy but I still have to work.. I can sleep later tonight..

"Jennie, you're early?"  
         Ms. Ahn said

Obviously...

"Ah, our class dismissed early.."
    I said and left her to change uniform..

Taehyung is mad now... I'm sure... I'm such a badass for leaving him, but it's the good thing rather than he sees me crying too..

"Selfish Jennie"
    I said to myself..

Rosé POV

"She just left..."
      Lisa said.

"He left too.."
     Jungkook said

We are now preparing to go home since we notice that Jennie already left us.. and also Taehyung..

"I saw Taehyung just pulled Jennie earlier, I don't know where they're going.. but few minutes after that, I saw Jennie came back rushing and get her things then left..."
      Jimin explained..

"Are they together?"
     I asked

"Maybe not, Jennie left with a puffed eyes so maybe not".
       Jimin said

"Puffed eyes? You mean crying?"
        Lisa asked, Jimin nodded

"Oh my gosh... I guess something happened to them once again.. did Taehyung asked her?"
      Jungkook said, my brows furrowed to him

"What do you mean asked her?"
      I asked

"We also know about Jennie and Taehyung.."
      Jimin said..

My eyes widen, Jennie feels devastated right now, I'm sure..
Her plan is to keep it a secret but it's just came out.. Taehyung knows..

Jennie is in her hard time, she have many things to do and now the situation gives more problem to Jennie..

"How did you know?"
     Lisa asked

"I overheard you in the library"
     Jimin said

"So you heard everything? You know it's a secret right? Why did you tell it?!"
       I said to Jimin in voice raised.

"Lying won't help in this situation... he deserves to know it too"
       Lisa said

"But, Jennie.... I think of her most of the time.. she's hard working and now she have this shits in here.."
     I said

"It's her fault at the first place... she don't have to lie"
     Jungkook said

"Taehyung's family hates her now, do you think if she told Taehyung about THEM they will be happy? Jennie explains everything to me..and I get it"
      I said

"Even my family get manipulated by Taehyung's parents, how much more Jennie? C'mon... think"
    I said, I'm a little bit pissed now.. the situation sucks!

"The only thing you can do whatever that problem you're discussing right now is to explain... explain makes things clear.. so, tell to Jennie that she just only needs to explain and also listen on the other side's explanation"
     Our attention got caught by Yoongi who just came.. a smart word..

"Sorry I'm late, but I think we have to go now.."
     He added and signaled us to go now..

I wanted to visit Jennie on the cafeteria, I hope she's okay...
