Chapter 18 - teasings

"Urgh...." I groaned, reaching out for my phone. Honestly, the person who created alarms should be whacked. I paused-why was I in bed? I walked down the stairs, noticing my mother preparing breakfast.

"Who's Yukimura Seiichi and why did he carry you home?" My mother asks as she hands me a slice of bread.

"He's the tennis captain of my school. I was tired and he carried me." I shrugged, biting into my bread.

"He's cute- you should date him." My mother joked as she walked to the living room. I choked on my sandwich, sighing as I turned to my mother. I walked out of the house to meet Bunta, who helped to take my tennis bag.

"You did well against Kirihara yesterday, but I didn't expect Mura to carry you eh?" He teased, wiggling his eyebrows. I stared in shock, mouth as wide as a goldfish.

"How? What? When?" I cried out in shock, looking at Bunta's arrogant face.

"It's not only me! Kirihara, Niou and Jackal saw it too. We were at the arcade cheering up seaweed boy." He smirked. I smacked my head, as I walked faster, ignoring Bunta's teasing.

"You and Mura would be so cute together! I wonder what the outcome would be like though, would Mura's YIPS get sealed up?" He laughs, as I turned back to him curiously.

"Yips?"

"He can take away your senses when playing tennis- it's terrifying." He shudders, looking at me.

"I see, that's interesting. Yagyuu-san found out that I wasn't using the full strength yesterday." I mused, looking in his eyes. Marui looked at me, smirking as he said.

"Told you our tennis club ain't that bad."

School ended routinely, as I made my way to the tennis courts. I greeted the regulars as I began to stretch out. I took a sip of my strawberry Fanta- as I walked inside the court with Yagyuu.

"Yagyuu Hiroshi, Lei Ayumi. Take your places."
