A/n: Hello guys! This ep. might be a lil sensitive ya! Take it with a light heart :( If anyone has faces any problems, and need a listening ear, feel free to dm me ♥

It was just like yesterday when I entered the tennis club together with her. Hikaru Yui, the top player in the tennis club, who brought me in.

A friendship that started from tennis, during a girl's best time was something memorable. Something exciting. The top player who became friends with the newbie, that soon became best friends. We were like twins, sticking to each other, celebrating the different festivals together. We trained madly under the scorching sun, teased the coach that guided us along to how we would sit at the park, enjoying the cold-ice cream in the summer heat.

Just like how the flowers will wilt, or how all beautiful things would always come to an end, our friendship ended abruptly. I didn't know that no matter how good you were, you shouldn't have overtaken your friends. I didn't know that there can never be two top spots. I didn't know that things can't be shared. I didn't know I was at fault when a fellow member confessed to me. I didn't know that there can only be one girl who could feel all the love.

I didn't know how much jealousy could ruin someone.

Perhaps, with my entrance into the tennis club, I destroyed Hikaru Yui's perfect life. I took things she once had, be it her top spot at the tennis club, or how she couldn't be the most popular girl. From the moment I won against her in the competition for the slot to compete in the tennis club, the perfect picture cracked and shattered into many irrevocable pieces.

She started avoiding me, talking to everyone about how I stole her slot, how I was such a "slut" or how I got in because I was close to the seniors. I was outcasted. Thrown away. My friends left me, deciding to side with her instead.

Yet for me, I foolishly believed. I waited in hopes that it would end. I hoped that she would come to me, with a glimmer of hope that even if she didn't apologise, I would still be friends with her. My patience was soon taken as how I wouldn't retaliate, and soon, more and more people believed the rumours that spreaded.

A few seniors then decided to take things into their own hands- by surrounding me as I left the tennis club, deciding to give me a beating on her behalf. That was when I decided to let go of tennis.

The tennis that destroyed my life.
