For whatever reason, that always seems to happen every single time David had asked Aubrey to hang out for the past few weeks. In fact, he didn't think that Aubrey had been around as much ever since the night they went out with Jacob. Well, she would actually come over sometimes for an hour or two to hang out with the gang or maybe even accompany him to do something but Aubrey hadn't really spent a full day with either him or his friends ever since they hung out with Jacob that one time.
David let it go though, knowing Aubrey is a really busy person and she's trying her best to manage her time. Also, it somehow didn't feel like she was drifting away.
David knew what it's like to drift away from your girlfriend, it happened to him with Liza. He would know if they were growing and living in different directions, but it didn't feel like that, Aubrey and him still acted the same way when they were together, still madly in love, and still the reason for everyone's jealousy.
