The airport was chaos. It seemed that everyone was planning to fly that day, as well. The anxiety coursed through Jacob as he tried to keep up with his fast-walking boyfriend. His backpack was strapped to his back securely, but he felt that if he didn't have his hands on the straps, he would lose it.

They managed to successfully get through security and all the way to their terminal gate. This was it. They still had some time to spare so Jacob and his boyfriend decided to just find a seat in one of the cold, hard airport chairs by the entrance to where the plane would be boarding.

There seemed to be a lot of people planning to fly this plane, too, so it was a very crowded area. A lot of families with small children seemed to be the majority of the group and that annoyed Jacob. He wasn't looking forward to having to deal with a long flight where small children were screaming or causing havoc.

"I have to take the window seat," Jacob's boyfriend states. "I feel claustrophobic otherwise. Will you take the middle seat for me?" The boy nods in agreeance, not really caring about the seating situation. It wasn't a flight he wanted to be on in the first place.

They began calling out that they were boarding for this flight, each section called one by one since it was a big plane. Jacob picks up his backpack and throws it lazily onto his back. The two stood in a line by their seats, waiting for their section to be called. It seemed like it was taking forever, since the families with the small children were boarding before them and had made a couple of noisy scenes. That caused some delays in the line to move forward.

"This is why I can't stand children." He hears his boyfriend quietly comments. As much as he agreed, he couldn't help, but think about how that comment just needed to stay in his head and not out loud to where the families could hear.

Slowly, but surely the line moved closer to the exit. Closer to Jacob leaving for good.

A shout distracts him, along with others surrounding him. Curiosity taking the best of him, he turns his head to the source. He couldn't believe his eyes.

Kevin was running towards him, shouting his name. His heart began thumping faster from anticipation. What was he doing at the airport?!

"Kevin?" Jacob asks after the other gets closer. He decides to step away from the line for a bit, not noticing the irritation on his boyfriend's face.

After some huffs of breath, the exhaustion clearly evident on his face, Kevin finally speaks.

"Don't leave." His hands were on his knees, trying to catch his breath.

The sadness takes over Jacob once more, for the nth time that week. "I have to, Kev. I'm sorry."

From behind them, a couple of feet away, Jacob's boyfriend sighs dramatically and loud. "Come on, Jacob. We have to go, our flight is boarding. Tell your friend goodbye and let's go."

The two look at Jacob's boyfriend and then turn back to each other, one wearing a face of sorrow and the other, a face of anxious anticipation.

"Don't leave, Jacob. Don't get on that plane. I'll pay you back for your ticket and whatever you need. Just please, don't leave. I am really tired of trying to find you." Kevin's pleas were hurting Jacob even more. It was making things more difficult than they already were. He knew his decision was already made for, but he couldn't help wishing it was different and that he could make a change.

"Jacob," his boyfriend barks out at him, his voice filled with anger. "If you don't get on this plane with me, then we are done and I am leaving you here alone. So, you better get on the plane right now."

Kevin looks at Jacob with pleading eyes. Jacob's thoughts were whizzing around in his head. Something inside of him told him that he was meant to stay. He thought about how unhappy he was going to be if he goes on the plane and how his problems will only follow him. He didn't want this move, his boyfriend did. He realized he only ever did what his boyfriend wanted. He was never given a choice, he's never been able to say otherwise about anything if he felt something wasn't right. This was something he needed to do for himself. He turned around, a confused and sad Kevin standing there as Jacob did the unthinkable. He walked towards his boyfriend.
