"Finally, lets go we're going to be late because of you I swear you make us late to everything-"

Jacob cuts off his boyfriend, "I'm not going with you." His pride began filling in him, as this mysterious confidence took over.

"What?" His boyfriend was astounded by what he was hearing. All he wanted to do was leave and get over with this move already, but Jacob seemed to want to delay that.

Jacob, however, wasn't going to let this stop him from ruining his life. "I'm staying here. I'm done with how you treat me. I need to be able to live my own life and you don't see that. I'm tired of our relationship and constantly being put down. Go. You deserve this trip, but I am not meant to be with you. Maybe in another life we can be good friends, but in this life you treat me like shit and I am tired of it. Goodbye."

With that, Jacob turns around, leaving his past behind to find his new future.

Except, his future had walked away.

Where did he go?

Jacob makes sure his back pack was strapped on his back properly and his grip on the straps was secure before he starts sprinting towards where he believed the exit was. He weaves in between groups of people, his feet not stopping him until they plant themselves in front of Kevin. There were constant shouts thrown at him for being in a hurry and a bunch of people he had to politely move so he could get around.

Irritation was growing more and more in the boy as his feet slapped loudly against the tiled floor of the airport. How large was this place? His heart was beating rapidly as he slowed towards the exit of the building.

There he was.

Relief filled him as Jacob finds Kevin attempting to hail a taxi just outside. He moves his feet quickly and immediately slaps the other's shoulder when he approaches him, a bit too hard by accident. Kevin whips his head around, eyes wide, to find an out of breath Jacob.

"You and I were meant to meet," Jacob manages to finally get out, through deep breaths from the running. "We have a connection, I know it. I left him. I'm tired of always being sad and hurt. With you, I don't feel that. I feel safe and secure."

Before Jacob could continue, Kevin takes his chance and grabs the older by the back of his neck and attaches their lips in a deep kiss.

It was as if a movie started playing at five times the speed in Jacob's head as images and videos of memories played in his head. They seemed so familiar yet distant at the same time. Then he realized, these were their past life memories. Kevin was his soulmate. By accepting the older as his soulmate, it triggered the memories. It was like the clock finally struck twelve in his head. Everything felt complete as their lips molded together. Jacob was meant to be here in this moment. Kevin was meant to be in his arms. Finally.

"Hey," Kevin says, while breaking away from the kiss. "You know that painting you're always looking at?"

Jacob looks at the other in confusion, still in Kevin's arms. He nods his head, curious as to where he was going with this question.

At this point, they had found a bench near the exit and decided to sit there. People began getting frustrated with them that they had stuck themselves in the pathway of everyone leaving the airport. It was kind of funny at the reaction they got.

"That really is you. I painted it." He watched as Jacob's eyes widen and lock with Kevin's as if he was trying to find a lie. "Well, actually it was me a couple of lifetimes ago, but yeah I painted you. I don't really like that lifetime, but I created something that would bring you to me, finally."

Jacob was in complete awe at what the other confessed to him. He knew he was connected to it for a reason.

"Now, lets get out of here. I want to take you home."
