Once Eddie told his mom that he was staying round Bill's, she just told him to make sure he had his pills and inhaler. Wasn't really hard to convince her, although she did tell him that she wanted to know how the test goes. Shit.

"So Bill, where did you already check," Eddie questioned. They were coming up near to the arcade in town, deciding to have one look around town once more and then have a look at different places if Richie still wasn't found.

"I chu-checked the arcade, j-jjj-just around town and the q-qua-quarry," Bill replied as the two of them took a glance inside the arcade once again, no sight of Richie.

"We should split up," Eddie suggested. "I really wanna find him soon before something happens. Patrick and Connor could be out and although Richie can fight, i don't think he can against them two."

Bill nodded in agreement. "I c-ccc-can check around the neighbourh-hood."

"Okay, ill check near the barrons and the forest."

The two boys agreed to their plan and parted ways, both of them hurrying to check. Bill made his way around the neighbour hood and checked both ways while he was strolling hurrying along the path. The boy yelled 'Richie' now and then.

Eddie however, he wAs hurrying throughout the path in the forest. He shouted 'Richie' a few times as he passed the tall trees in the forest, he kept his attention all around him. He made sure he checked every direction and made sure he was ready to hear any noice, he kept doing this until he finally reached the end of the path in the forest.

"Richie," Eddie yelled as he trudged through the water, from the direction that he came from the forest. "Richie Tozier!"

The boy continued to yell Richie until he reached the barrons, he couldn't see much due to the darkness from inside the tunnel. Eddie continued to get closer and closer towards the entry of the tunnel until he heard a slight splash from inside, his body jurked back in response.

"Hello? Anyone there?"

"Eddie?" Came a voice from inside, it didn't sound like Richie's, he wasn't sure who it sounded like. The small boy just slowly backed away each time he heard the footsteps getting closer to the end of the tunnel. Until the footsteps stopped.

"Uh—"

Eddie's words stopped as he finally saw the person step out of the darkness, it was Connor. Connor fucking Bowers.

But it didn't just stop at Connor, Eddie began to hear more footsteps from inside the tunnel and out came a Richie Tozier.

"What the fuck," Eddie gasped as the two of the boys stood awkwardly at the entrance of the barrons.

"Eddie? What the fuck are you doing here," asked Connor. He received a slight slap on the shoulder from Richie because of the harsh words.

"I could ask you the same thing," Eddie snapped back. He turned to face Richie, the boy had his head directed down at the dirty water. He looked guilty in Eddie's eyes. "What the fuck were you doing in there with Connor?"

"Nothing bad, i swear—"

"Connor, can you fuck off," Eddie demanded.

"But—"

"Connor.. Go," Richie instructed. Connor just looked at both of them before trudging away, his feet kicking a few stones on the way. Once Connor was out of sight, Richie looked up at Eddie for the first time. "I swear Eddie, it's not what you think—"
