The bell rang loudly, it was the end of 3rd period on Thursday. Eddie was in his social studies that he had with Stan and Richie. Although, once again.. Richie worked with Connor."Richie," Eddie spoke as the class were all crowded, trying to get into the hallway.
"Yes, what's up Eds," Richie greeted as he scuffed Eddie's hair to slightly mess it up.
"Don't call me that," he quickly demanded. "I just wanted to make sure you was coming to the sleepover tomorrow night, we all wanted to know actually."
"Yeah sure, why wouldn't i?"
"We just weren't sure if you was gonna be hanging around with Connor instead, seen as you've been ditching us for him recently."
Richie quickly darted his eyes to look at Eddie, he had a confusing look on his face. A partly guilty one, but mostly confused. "No i'm not!"
"Really? Because it seems like you both are up each other's arses," Eddie mumbling, too under his breathe that Richie couldn't catch the whole sentence.
"Huh?"
"What?"
"You said something, what did you say?"
"Oh nothing important," Eddie spoke as he adjusting the straps on his backpack and parted ways with his friend, heading to his next lesson.
What's got into him, Richie thought as he turned around and also headed to his 4th period.

Time passed an hour and the 6 losers were sat at their lunch table, waiting for Richie to show up. He did end up coming but not alone, he brought Connor along with him..
Richie took a seat in between Stan and Eddie whereas Connor just sat next to him. None of the losers said anything until Richie finally broke the silence.
"Sooo guys, i was wondering if it was okay if Connor sat with his today?" Richie was obviously nervous, everyone could tell by the tone of voice and the look on his face.
"Bit late now, he's already here," Bev giggled as he gave a greeting smile to Connor, she received one back.
Bev wasn't the hugest fan about Connor, infact.. She didn't like him really, her and Eddie were talking about it the other day at the quarry. But she always had this thing to her, like she couldn't be mean to anyone that she hadn't met. Or anyone that wasn't mean to her. It was this thing that everyone loved about her, even Eddie at this moment in time.
All the other losers didn't say anything, they just gave Connor a smile. A welcoming smile. Not like they wanted Connor to be there but they still had to be nice.
"Good," Richie mumbled. "How's my Eddi spaghetti." Richie turned to look at the small boy who was just looking down under the table. His eyes then shot up as he heard the nickname. "I'm good? Why?"
"Just being nice, jeez."
"You're being too nice, it's suspicious," Eddie joked.
"Your sister was being too nice last night as well," he sniggered.
"I don't have a sister dumbass."
"You will in 9 months."
Eddie instantly looked up and gave Richie a slight slap on the shoulder as Connor let out a loud snort at the joke. This made Eddie cringe, he didn't understand why. "It wasn't that funny," he said to Connor with a rude tone in his voice.
Mike then looked up from picking his food with a smirk, "it was pretty funny dude."
Eddie rolled his eyes and just continued to eat his food until the tray was empty. He didn't want to deal with Connor's stupid laugh every time Richie told a joke. He just didn't want to deal with Connor being there in general. He had heard rumours about Connor that made him decide that he wasn't going to befriend him. He didn't like Connor anyway from basically taking his best friend away.
So, Eddie had just spent the last of his lunch in a bathroom stall alone. None of the losers went to see if he was okay at first until he heard the door swing open and heard a familiar voice call for him.
"Eds?"
It was Richie, of course it was Richie.
Eddie opened the door of the toilet stall and was faced with the curly-hair boy standing in front of him. He looked confused, probably at why Eddie ran off like he did.
"You left Connor with the losers," Eddie spoke quietly. Richie laughed as he leaned his body onto the wall.
"They like him, so it's fine."
"they don't like him."
"Uhm, what?"
"Don't worry." Eddie knew that the group didn't like Connor apart from Richie, they all spoke about it last Thursday. Some would say that it was chatting shit but Richie was the one who decided to meet Connor than meet with the losers, so it seemed pretty fair to them.
"Okay then, why did you run off?" Questioned Richie.
"Wanted to be alone for the rest of lunch, problem?"
"No.."
"Well if there's no problem then you can go back now," Eddie spoke in a quite harsh tone. He didn't know why he was trying to be so distant but he felt like being alone at that time, he didn't want to deal with Richie's trash mouth.
"Damn, you sure you're okay?"
"Yes Richie! I'm fine but i just want to be alone."
"Okay, jeez." Richie began to walk back to the door to leave the bathroom until he suddenly stopped and turned back around to face the boy once more.
"Next friday. A party. I know it's when we have sleepovers but Connor invited me and it's the first party that i've been invited to."
Eddie felt ,once again, hurt. First Richie was ditching them to hang with Connor all day but now he was ditching the sleepover because of a party that fucking Connor invited him to..
"Okay, whatever," Eddie spoke quietly. "Have fun."
"I want all of you guys to come though, Connor said i could invite you all. Please come, you can speak to them about it," Richie offered. Eddie would've said no but he had a thought about it for a sec. The losers had never been to a party and Eddie actually wanted to see how it was, despite the fact that Eddie could tell that Richie wanted them all to go.
"Yeah okay, i'll speak to the others," Eddie shrugged as he gave a slight smile to Richie. He got a big smile back from him as Richie turned back and left the bathroom..
