Eddie had no clue where he was going, he had been gone for about 30 minutes. His b*ner had gone down and he was now walking back to Bill's house.

What am i gonna say? Am i going to tell them the truth? Fuck, ofc not. They'll think i'm wierd.

Eddie's thoughts were still lingering in the back of his head until they suddenly went when he noticed a familiar face. Familiar blonde, puffy hair.

It was Connor Bowers, with Gretta?

"It's girly boy," greeted Gretta with a smirk. She had always made fun of him, called him various nicknames like Girly-boy, fag, fairy etc etc.

"What do you want Gretta," Eddie spoke, quite loud which surprised him. "I need to go."

"Aw Girly boy," she mocked. "I wanted to do your makeup, maybe even re-do your nails." Her eyes were looking down at Eddie's black, painted nails. But he instantly hid his hands behind his back as he noticed where she was looking. "I-"

"Gretta, that's enough," Connor then spoke up. Gretta stayed quiet but still glared at the small boy that was awkwardly standing in front of him. "He's going to the party on Friday, as well as all his friends and Richie. So, i don't want you bothering them."

Why did he say "and richie" when Richie is part of my friends. He's my friend, he's the losers best friend! Not Connor's.

Eddie just stayed quiet, he was wondering why Connor was trying to stick up for him in front of Gretta. Eddie then spoke up, "i might be going to the party, too much alcohol and drugs and shit."

Eddie didn't look at Gretta, he only faced towards Connor who was actually giving him a nice smile. Although, Eddie could hear the quiet laugh that was mocking Eddie's words.

"You should come, you won't need to drink or do drugs. Same with your friends," Connor suggested. "Besides, Richie is definitely coming. He would like his friends to come with him."

Eddie didn't say anything, he just nodded. Connor didn't say anything more, neither did Gretta. They eventually decided to walk past the small boy, Gretta giving him a little nudge on the side of his body which almost made Eddie lose his balance. But he didn't, luckily.

Maybe Connor isn't that bad?

Oh, trust me. He is.

Eddie began to pull out his inhaler from his fanny pack as he could feel his breathe becoming slightly out of his control. Well it was doing that when he was face to face with Gretta and Connor but he didn't wanna get his inhaler out in front of him, he didn't want to deal with more of Gretta's judgemental laughs.

Eddie took a big few puffs of his inhaler and then gently placed it back in his fanny pack. He looked behind him to see that Connor and Gretta were out of sight so the small boy decided to walk away quite fast.

Although, Eddie didn't see himself walking back towards Bill's house anymore. He was walking to his house.

He was stood at the doorstep of his house, thinking about whether he should knock or just go back to Bill's. However, Eddie did start feeling a bit dizzy after what happened and he realised he needed some alone time. Some time to think. He didn't want to be nagged about why he left Bill's in such a rush, so he just decided to knock on the door of his house.

"Eddie bear, you're home," Sonia exclaimed, sounding surprised. "Why are you home?"

"I-i felt sick at Bill's. I needed to come home mommy," he replied. Sonia moved out the way of the doorway to let her son come in and then closed the door behind him. "You're sick? Do you need a doctors appointment dear," she then asked while reaching to feel the warm ness of his head.

"I'm fine," Eddie quickly replied while stepping back. "I think i need some sleep and i'll see if i'm better in the morning mommy."

"Okay, off to bed then."

"Wait, i need to quickly phone Bill. I told him that i'll call him to let him know if i got home alright." Sonia just nodded her head to action that she was okay with it and then made her way to sit back on the sofa.

Eddie picked up the home phone, dialled Bill's number and patiently waited until he heard the phone pick up.

"Eddie? Are y-yy-you okay?"

"Yes i'm fine, i felt sick so i had to run out and get some air quickly. I'm at home now so i won't be coming back to yours as i feel sick still."

Eddie rushed all his words out at once so Bill wouldn't suspect that Eddie was lying. Although, he was.

"Right w-wuh-well, hope y-you guh-g-get better."

"Thanks Bill, tell the others i'm sorry."

And before Bill could say anything else, Eddie put down the phone and rushed upstairs to get to his room. He didn't want his mom to force him to kiss her on the cheek like he always does. So, he reached his bedroom and closed the door behind him.

Eddie rummaged through his fanny pack to pull out some pills and take a couple before he got comfortable in bed. He wasn't going to go to sleep just yet, he just wanted to think. He wanted to think about why that happened in the closet. Maybe it was because of the physical touching. The physical action. Eddie had never really got someone getting so close in his space in a cramped area. Maybe it was because of that. Eddie was thinking about telling one of the losers, telling them about how Connor was being so nice to him.

But for now, Eddie chose to keep quiet. He didn't want any of the losers thinking he was gay. Which he wasn't. Ew, he thought.
