Chapter 2~ The Journey to Hogwarts

....When I did eventually check after telling myself my life story I found we were only a quarter way through the train ride...

After that very traumatic experience the trolley lady walked by and let me tell you I have never been more happy in my life, I was bloody starving because mother made me go on some sort of diet even though I really don't need it at all. I really didn't eat that much today so I reached into my pocket and found a few galleons, sickles and knuts. I asked if anyone else wanted anything, Rora asked for a chocolate frog, Cygnus asked for a sugar quill, Ella wanted a cauldron cake, Orion wanted a chocolate frog as well. I don't think I've ever seen Tom eat Wizarding candy before, or any candy for that matter which is one of the many reasons why Tom scares me. (I should seriously make a book about that I'd get rich off of it.)

I made my why to the trolley but bumped into Paisley Parkinson just my luck. (Note the sarcasm) "Watch where your going!" The nerve of that woman, gosh. "Sorry Parkinson but maybe next time try not to take up the WHOLE hallway I know it's hard but please try." That should get under her skin. She glares at me and if looks could kill... I'd be six feet under again (I've come to the establishment that a lot of people want me six feet under) "I'm just gonna scoot past you since I'm very behind schedule." (I'm not I just don't want to talk to her) I walk away because Abraxas is better company than her, WHAT DID I JUST SAY?! EW NO! NO ONE IS WORST THAN HIM! Now that I've got that out of my system I'm just gonna get everyone's candy and go.

I open the door to the compartment and see everyone talking so I give everyone their candy (the ones who asked for it) I also realized that they obviously played musical chairs because everyone switched spots and the only open spot is next to Tom (did I say he scares the crap out of me? Because he does he's so quiet and no one plans a murder out loud so he could technically be planning my death right now and no one would know, he's also a great wizard and would definitely beat me in a duel.) "Hello Tom how was your summer?" He looked over at me and it looks likes he's seen a ghost... "It was alright, how about you Amelia?" That is the most he's ever said to me and he's looking at me weirdly. Do I have something in my hair? "It was alright thanks for asking." He was about to turn around but I said, "Are you alright Tom you look more pale than normal." He just nods and turns around rude.

I look to my right and I see Cygnus and I decide that if Tom's not going to talk to me then I will talk to Cygnus. "Hello Cygnus!" He glances up at me and says, "Hi Melia! How was your summer?" "It was ok nothing special how was yours? I heard that you and Ella were betrothed." He nods his head and I see his cheeks go pink, aw he's blushing you know I always knew him and Ella would be cute together and I'm not blind so I obviously see the way they look at each other. "My summer was great my father bought me a new broom and it's the best model, it's really fast and he played quidditch with me so that was fun." Oh have I mentioned the boys and Abraxas excluding Tom play quidditch for Slytherin, we have a very good team not to brag or anything. (And yes I just did that to Abraxas)

It feels like hours have gone by but in reality it's only been one hour, Tom had to leave for prefect stuff and so did Rora. See! They are literally meant for each other! Anyways we decided to switch spots AGAIN! It gets bloody annoying how we do that I don't even know why! Oh wait now I do. Now that Tom is gone he can't glare at Walburga and Orion while they snog. Someone had to say it! Now that I'm 99.99% sure that Ella and Cygnus like each other they will sit next to each other a flirt so that leaves me and the devil himself Malfoy. I mean at least they have the decency to let us sit near the windows so we have something to keep us occupied because we can't talk to each other that is just unheard of! "How was your summer Amelia?" Well I just jinxed that. "It was alright I guess... how was yours?" Damn this is awkward. He nods his head and turns back to the window. I am very tired I don't know how because I had at least 8 hours of sleep last night... it's not my fault my owl was chasing me around my room like a mad owl! I'm gonna take a nap and maybe the ride will be done when I wake up.

{4 hours later}

Haha nope the ride was not done in fact I woke up to Rora and Tom complaining! "Can you guys not do that in here please ah my eyes." Aurora can be very dramatic but this is not one of those times. "I agree it's not very fun" says Malfoy. "I agree with both of you." I don't even think anyone knew I was awake. "You can do whatever you were doing as long as I'm not here." Wow Tom he's really gonna play us like that? "I also can't be here because my eyes and ears don't want to do hear nor see that stuff." "Yeah guys don't ruin Amelias innocence." I glance at Malfoy because I'm not that innocent. Just because I've never kissed someone before (besides from kissing someone on the cheek for my wedding) doesn't mean I'm innocent! I'm just more reserved than everyone else! Anyways I check the time again because I'm impatient and see that it's time to change into our robes so I stand up and almost faint but that's ok 👌, and tell everyone that we should change now.

I can't wait for another year at Hogwarts and something tells me this year is gonna be a year to remember.
