     DLM Tower

      Nakaupo lang si Winchester sa pinakagitna ng boardroom habang tinitingnan lahat ng executives at directors ng DLM Group. Karamihan ay naghihintay sa sasabihinniya at ang ilan naman ay nagbubulungan kung para saan ang meeting na pinatawag ni Winchester.

    Nagdilim ang paligid at binuksan ni Lena ang projector upang ipakita ang isang pie graph na naglalaman na mga numero.

    "As you all may know, our family has been the eye for bad reputation after the revelations my own father has given through all the media platforms. I am the second son of Alfonso Del Mundo and I now currently sits in the position as the CEO of DLM Group. But while I was not here and trying to make sense of all the things that has happened to me which for a fact, I had no idea too, someone has taken advantage of that situation."

    Lalong lumakas ang bulungan sa loob ng boardroom at linipat ni Lena ang slide sa senyas sa kanya ni Winchester.

     "Currently, Mr. Laurente has 29% of the total shares in the company while the shares of our family remains at 32%. But since there was a silent voting for my ouster as the CEO, 56% of all the executives and directors agreed to this. And now, as company protocol, Mr. Achilles Laurente shall become the new CEO of the company."

     "That's right, Mr. Del Mundo. Mr. Laurente has been appointed as the new CEO based on the percentage of votes of the executives and directors. But it was not held properly. This is a sabotage."

    Umiling si Winchester sa Director of Finance at pinatahimik niya ito. Nagsitahimik din lahat ng executives at director na naroon.

     "The decision has been made either way. So even if it was an official voting or not, Mr. Laurente clearly won the approval of the stakeholders and most people in this company."

    Nagkatinginan ang mga executives at para bang hindi nila maintindihan kung bakit ganun nalang kadaling sinuko ni Winchester ang kanyang posisyon.

     "But before everything ends today, as my last day being the CEO of DLM Group, everyone that voted for Mr. Achilles Laurente.. You are all fired ."

    "And as for me, I will be the Director of Human Resource Management as the company rules out the CEO can choose a managerial position before he steps down."
  
   Nagkagulo ang buong boardroom at ang iba ay nagkakapikunan na. Hindi nila inaasahan na gagawin iyon sa kanila ni Winchester. Nahulog sila sa isang patibong.

    Nagmamadaling lumabas si Winchester sa boardroom at agad na bumalik sa kanyang opisina.

    "Sir? Is this what you really want? This will cost the company too much. Maraming investor ang madidiscourage sa inyong ginawang pasya."

    "Lena. That's exactly the point. To discourage investors. Lets see how Achilles can handle shit like that. And those executives and directors will be running towards me and beg for my forgiveness. That was all in the plan."

    Hindi na alam ni Lena kung si Winchester pa ba na kilala niya noon ang kaharap niya ngayon. Tila may nagbago na rito. Marami na itong desisyong ginagawa na maaring ikapahamak ng nakararami. Pero may tiwala siya rito. Marahil ay hindi lang niya makita sa ngayon ang kabuuan ng plano nito.

    Nang makabalik sila sa opisina ay abala pa rin si Jacob sa kanyang ginagawang pagsasalansan ng mga importanteng dokumento.

     Nagulat si Lena at Winchester dahil wala na itong damit pangitaas at litaw na litaw ang batak nitong pangangatawan. Pinagpapawisan ito dahil narin sa bigat ng mga file boxes na binubuhat nito.
